Default Wii hackers:

I've been playing MOH 2 for Wii, eventhough I got it rencently I still have seen many hackers. I'm not talking about glitches, I mean real hacks. I've seen people with unlimited health, they could be an allie with Axis outfits, and couldn't be voted off. It buged me like crazy! Me and all the other players were surroding him, we used everything we had. Grenades, pistols, rocket launchers, EVERYTHING!!! And HE WON! His name was [Removed by Aurora]. So if you know anyone else who hacks and makes the game no fun, just post a response and hope that EA can get them banned.

Naming and shaming hackers isn't allowed on these forums.
You really should take a look at the forum rules, available by clicking here.

im afraid to say i disagree with that particular forum rule. what purpose does it serve but protecting cheats? hackers should have as much publicity as possible to try and stop them doing it. the only thing you can do in game H5e5, is when you leave the server, press 2 to bring up the messenger, switch to recent oppenents list, scroll down to his name, click with A, and select leave feedback. one of the options is report cheat or something

Send a letter to EA or something. Just don't name them on these forums.

If you hacked, would you like it if I named you on the forums?

The thing is, there are also people who like to name 'cheaters' who are not actually cheating...whether they wrongly think that the player is cheating or the do it to tarnish their name.

If you send us all the details that you can about the incident as possible, then we can send it on the the appropriate team

There are certainly some strange things that happen in game. I don't know if they're hacking or they just happen like a glitch. A new thing I saw this evening in the village ctf was some guy who was invisible !
How did I see him ? He was using a bazooka which wasn't invisible, you could see this bazooka going around klilling people ! He couldn't die either cos I lobbed grenades right onto the bazooka but he didn't die.

Default Yes there are some strange things happening

Guys I do agree there are some hackers out there and they should be named but what is also true is that some people would put up names when the people weren't hacking. This is best illustrated by how hard it is to get good at this game. When I was first learning I couldn't believe how hard it was to kill some people so I searched online for help and found out about the lag factor and need to shoot ahead and other helpful tips but the amount of people online who had been playing for a very short time and blamed their lack of success on thinking it was hacking was ridiculous. Some of the people named I'd seen online and killed and trust me there are a lot of people out there who will accuse people of hacking before admitting they are amateurs playing against people who have been practicing for ages. A lot of people who have only been playing for five minutes also seem to add a lot of posts stating that a lot of people switch sides to help the side they want to win. This is usually not the case and you can spot them a mile off as when a group is running down say in the sewers you look at each other and see if anyone is about to throw a grenade or fire a bazooka and hold back then run in but the inexperienced dont then complain when the message comes up that they have been killed by a team mate.

Next point though is that it is a problem. On Sat 26th April I capturing the flag in a large game and I wont name him but one enemy came in and took on five of us. After finally getting cornered in the barn while one guy emptied a bar into his head I dropped a grenade at his feet. He didnt move and the grenade went off at his feet after which he moved away and continued shooting. Now dont get me wrong I aint the best but when five of you pump over 40 rounds into someone in a game with experienced players then to test superman (not his screen name) you drop a grenade at this feet when hes cornered in the stable and he walks of you have to ask what is going on!

That was a frustrating game cause while we were doing that someone else on our own team who I wont name kept killing me. Now I appreciate mistakes happen especially when the grenades and bazookas are flying but after three times in a row I followed him and found he was shooting everyone in our team in the back I looked round and noticed several other guys following him to. It was funny cause we looked at each other realised the score and emptied on him. Didnt vote him off we just kept killing him the minute he spawned until he left.

Must admit I felt bad once cause I had some lunch and came back to my game and suddenly found everyone in my team giving me a wide birth and not shooting me but raising their guns the minute I went near. I was totally puzzled until my daughter said daddy those ones are much easier to kill than the ones over the other side. So I apologize if anyone out there got annoyed with me.

Finally I hate hackers and dont know how they do it but here's one for you. I usually play on the Wii but I got the psp version to. Now on the Wii I'm reasonable and die as often as I kill which is not bad for someone who quite often gets over 50% of the flags. Well anyway I was testing the psp version out on the first day and on my second game noticed I was doing very well too well actually as playing on the psp is totally different. I stopped killing the enemy and stood close to someone on the other team and I couldnt seem to die. I then kept running round the port not killing anyone but testing it out and sure enough no-one could kill me. I then exited the game as I hate hacking. I don't know how I did it but I did.

Default RE: Cheating

Lessons to be learned from all of the above??? Dont cheat!!! I think its a great experience overall and a shame that some players cant live with the fact that some people are better than others. i have been playing for a few months now and have had different levels of success and this has depended on how good my oponents have been but whetever the scores i have one thing to be proud of..... achieving results based on talent or lack of it. Either way its all been legal and unashamed fun.Thats the way you play. Cheating is a product of all the imaturity found in the game. The same can be said of players constantly talking everytime they are killed,it is unnecessary and at times very annoying and again showing how childish some players can be. In future players who cheat can have their own room, just make sure you name it accordingly......PUBERTY for example!! For all you other guys who are legal, watch out.....indiana is back.
