Hello all, I'm a first timer in here.
I would very much appreciate anybody's help if it is possible. I have been gaming on the multiplayer server for Airborne on and off for a while now. I have recently changed my ISP and my ping has more than doubled as a result. My ISP said that if I can provide them with the IP address they can trace it to find via which routes I am being taken, with this information in hand they may be able to better my connection to the EA server as it could indicate a problem with their service "as they put it to me" ! I join some dedicated server games occassionally but moreso I game with some friends via creating a private match. It is in the private match where the higher ping is more noticable. Can anyone shed some light on how to find this IP address out ? Is such information available ? Many thanks in advance.... I have another question also: While I am in a dedicated server game I notice many of the players attaching and launching grenades from their rifles. Many of the Allies have just air dropped right next to me and fire off a grenade. I have tried to figure out how to do this but with no luck ...... I have always had the latest 1.3 patch... Is there an ugrade for this function or is it just a keyboard selection that I'm not yet aware of ? Thank you again..... |
