Game problem

I have just installed this game and when i try and play it the character just goes round in circles so i cannot control him of play the game. If you move the mouse the opposite way it moves it but soon as u stop starts again.

Has anyone got any ideas how to fix this. I have installed and reinstalled the game 3 times and still the problem persists.

If you have any game controllers plugged in, try removing them.
