Installation problem

Have just bought this game and am unable to install it. Having searched the forum before posting, it appears to be exactly the same problem experienced by Mackybaby on 04/01/2008.

After enetering the product key a window very briefly pops up stating 'Please wait whilst windows configures ..' It is displayed so quickly that there is not time to read the full message, then everything comes to a complete stop with the installation and I have tried repeating the install but same problem. The installing message seems to commence with AGEI.. therefore I am assuming that it is referring to the AGEIA Physx accelerator.

I am running a 3.33 gigahertz Intel Core2 Duo with Vista 32 bit with a NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX. I have downloaded and installed the latest driver. AGEIA Physx is installed and seems to be the most up-to-date with a version number 8.10.13.

Anyone any suggestions? Thanks.

hi there

havin had the same problem as you it took me a while to figure it out.

i had updated all the drivers likes it says and noticed it put a new AGEIA Physx one in too.
i uninstalled this new one then started the game installing again and it worked fine this time.
i think it must be something to do with the new file from nvidia ???

anyway works for me hopefully it will work for you too
