Hardest Difficulty

Has anyone actually completed this on the hardest difficulty? If so, i would like to shake your hand.
I've reached the section in the trainyard level after securing the gate, where you first meet the "Walking tank".
It is impossible. I've tried everything i can think of.
You die within a second or less, and no weapon does enough damage to kill the tank before you get flanked.

Any tips?

I use the German automatic assault rifle. Remain crouched behind the wooden box. 1st take out the guy running up the yard on your right. 2nd take out the guy running down the stairs, (sometimes this guy buys it on the way down the stairs. 3rd, swivel to take on the flankers while at all times keeping on the opposite side of the wooden box to "the walking tank". He will stop to reload at which time empty your clip into his torso. He will go down then run like hell up the steel stairs which were originally to your left and good luck to you. It will take a couple of attempts before you eventually succeed

I use the HER(Hajas Extreme Realsim) mod. Much better and extremely difficult, but realistic
