Default Mass Effect Problem

i received mass effect as the community challenge #4 prize and have installed it on a vista laptop and when ever i click play it comes up with 'Mass Effect has stopped working'
i have installed the patch but nothing has changed

Try updating your graphics drivers and see if that helps. It could be that your card is not supported but it is worth a try

it may not be... its only geforce 6200 it supports 6800 i think my brother has a better one than me so i may have to ask for a swap

It looks like that could be an issue then as the 6200 is not on the supported list.

well he broke his computer so he usin my old one which means his computer isnbt in use so i may do a sneaky swap

ok he has a geforce FX 5200 lol he said it was better... stgill dont work :\ ill just have to find one that works...

Maybe you could see if you could upgrade your card. Just be sure that if you do the card you choose is compatible with your existing set up

yeah i will look... it turns out that this laptop fails more than my desktop with only hard drive passing lol my desktop has an AGP slot and 3 PCI slots so if you can help me check for a supported Graphics card that would be... helpful
