Default Mass Effect - Vista Users - FAQ's

1. I can't create a short Icon on my desktop?
> Here how: Click Start > Open "Computer" > Local C:\ Drive > Program Files > Mass Effect Folder > Binaries Folder - look for Mass Effect Launcher then right click "send to desktop"

2. The game won't work...Error: Mass Effect has stopped working...windows will look for solution...then NOTHING!
> Solution: go to this command line: Click Start > Open "Computer" > Local C:\ Drive > Program Files > Mass Effect Folder > Binaries Folder - look for Mass Effect Launcher then right click chose "Run as Administrator"
*If this fail to run the game - just tell me

When I click on the launcher, an error message pops up saying that Launcher.xml was not found.
I'm using Vista.

Skip the launch and go straight to program files folder then the binaries folder and run the masseffect.exe or the configtool if you want to.

Well I know it's been a while since you left this post but your solution did not work for me. Do you know of any other solution? This is very frustrating.
