Bought from EA store ROTWK but when updated it wont let me play

I recent bought the digital download version of ROTWK hoping to play it with friends. However once I downloaded it I found out I had to apply the latest patch which I thought was all well and good till I'd installed the patch and attempted to play the game.

Whenever I click on the shortcut it now asks me to insert the CD which I dont have because as I said I bought it from the EA store and downloaded it using their download manager.

So I'm kinda stuck here. I cant just reinstall it because then it wont be upto date. I need it up to date so I can play online with my friends and I cant insert the CD because I dont have it because you dont get one when you digitaly download it from EA's store.

What should I do?
