FIFA 07 is the best game I ever played. Never played FIFA 03 and FIFA 06 World Cup and 08'

has to be FIFA 98 or 99 without doubt. the arcade-style pace and gameplay was amazing.

FIFA 98 and 99. Look at the smoothness my GOD the players can be controled in whatever way. You can make a really HARSH TACKLe which can injure your opponent instantly whilst current fifa cannot be done whay a shame can't compare to FIFA 06, 07 and 08.

FIFA 99 was top class remember Mark Lawrenson his commentary was way better then the FIFA commentary in recent years.

I must say once i saw what fifa 07 was truely like i enjoyed 06 much more, but for me 08 is just the best i've played and the most challenging.

of the ones in the poll, FIFA 08.

but all-time, FIFA 99 was imo the best for its time. FIFA 98 was also great and comes second to 99 for me (I take custom tournaments over indoor

) ... FIFA 2002 was also great.

Pound for pound, it's 01, no contest. I'm not surprised so many people have mentioned 98 & 99, but I think EA perfected these on '2001'. For it's time, it was so slick and easy to work with. The original PES was nowt compared to it. It was issued for the Ps2 also, but isn't anything like as good on the big black chest of drawers as it was on the small grey sandwich toaster. Commentary team of Andy & 'Lawro' at the peak of their power! (Did anyone else notice how FIFA always teamed up 2 presenters from different TV stations? BBC/Sky or ITV/Sky etc...?)

Fifa 98 was topping the charts until this year, but there are still too much lacking from this game to beat fifa 98. But Fifa 08 is close, took them 10 years to get there though....

Fifa 08 has the most realism but 98 for nostalgia and you gotta love that indoor mode..
