KIRBY: Dreamland Kingdom
Mario has had RPGs, and there is a Sonic one up and coming, so why not have a kirby one? It would work well. You play as kirby, who can, of course, suck up enemies to use different powers and attacks. You could recruit/assign a "sidekick", such as Metaknight or Rick to help you along the way? ![]() ![]() Genre: RPG Story: The Squeak Squad have returned, and Daroach accidently ripped open a time hole in King Dedede's castle. The flow of time starts to get distorted, and the residents of Dreamland decide to put things right! Dedede is captured and forced to fight under the command of the Squeaks, along with his army. Most, if not all, characters from previous Kirby games will have some appearance somewhere in the game. Gameplay: You (Kirby) make your way around a free-roaming Dreamland, using the stylus to control Kirby. The game would play like Phantom Hourglass, but the battles are turn-based. Multiplayer: Up to 4 players can play via Multicard play, and you can either team up to play a special co-op mode, or go head to head in battle. Abilities: The game features all of Kirby's past abilities, and some new ones too. Do you think this would work as a game? Would you want a Kirby RPG? There's already an RPG Kirby game for the DS isn't there? I just saw it in Game.
EDIT: Yep, there is. There's 2. When Kirby finds himself suddenly short on shortcake, he bellies up for an all-new adventure in Kirby: Squeak Squad. The roly-poly hero is out to find someone (or something) that stole some strawberry shortcake, and he'll learn some new skills along the way. Squeak Squad features the floating, jumping, and fighting you've come to expect in a Kirby game. And this time, Kirby's copy abilities have been improved! Mix them by dragging the DS stylus, then burn the environment down with the Fire Ability or freeze it out with the Ice Ability. Up to four friends can form their own Squeak Squad with Multi-Card, LAN, or DS Download play. ollowing their popular YOSHI TOUCH AND GO title, Nintendo has released KIRBY: Canvas Curse for the Nintendo DS. Players won't need to touch the control pad or the buttons here: the game is entirely controlled by using the stylus and the touch screen. Players draw lines, bridges, and walls to maneuver Kirby or to protect him from enemies. Kirby spends a lot of time as a ball in the game while players draw bridges over pits, walls to change his direction, and barriers to protect him from enemy attacks. Different colored lines have different properties as well, so players will have to be quick in changing colors. When Kirby comes unrolled, he can use a dash attack or copy enemy special moves. The game is broken up in to several different worlds, each comprised of three levels. At the end of each world, players select one of three bosses to battle. Players have the choice of the same three bosses for each world, but the more a player fights a boss, the stronger that boss becomes. Once the main game is completed, there are several other quests. Rainbow Run lets players replay sections of previous levels with different mission goals and rewards players with medals that can be spent at the item shop or used to unlock secrets like sound tests. KIRBY: Canvas Curse makes full use of the touch screen abilities of the DS, and players who enjoy using the stylus controls will find the game a fresh challenge.
