Not posted in this part of the forum before but my latest is below.

I like my sigs fairly clean and simple, and I like the way this one tells a story from left to right as it's fairly different.

Very professional and I agree with nutter totaly.

Carefull with your sharpening btw in places it looks a little to sharp. A soft brush eraser set to 30% would sort that.

I like it!

My lack of enthusiasm for writing seems to have spread to graphics instead. I'm not complaining much. So I decided to play around a bit more with the image for a change. Tried to be more careful with the sharpening too. I'm quite happy with how the second attempt came out. :]

I really love the second one, the colours and filters you have used are brilliant and fit in really well. The text things over the middle give the icon some life and purpose and generally makes it look like the finished article. I particularly like the sort of orange mist and white sparkle at the bottom, it's a lovely effect and fits in beautifully with the orange-pink colour scheme. The first one is nice, but I think it's maybe lacking some spark. I think maybe the portion of the picture you used wasn't the best part to make an icon from, and as a result it doesn't seem to have much purpose or meaningful flow. But looking from a technical viewpoint, everything you have done to the image looks great, as always. The text fits in well and the shape-work under the text is a good look.

Background is a bit strange with all the crossthread effect. I like the pirate flag...light is waaaaaaaayyy too bright. Text is a big let down. Nice render though.

Liking these icons as well. The first ond has some great colouring and lighting, but the second one could pass off as a DJ music icon.
