Showcase 73: Valve......entries for voting on p48

So here we start a new thread for our next two Showcases which will run alongside each other over the next week and a bit. You are free to enter both if you wish.

Showcase 60- Website Layout

I asked entrants for Showcase 59 to come up with a theme for a website layout so our next Showcase is for a :

Futuristic Website

A website layout for a site of your choice presented as an image only, no html or css required. In a change to previous site design Showcases, please design a homepage and a gallery page for your entry.

Obviously the size should reflect the kind of design you are working on so there is no need to make it 400*150 this time.

Showcase 61- Collaboration

Collaboration

Alongside this we will also have a Collaborative Showcase. There us no set theme so choose your partner/s and go ahead to create a piece on any theme and of any dimension (within reason) for your entry.

Please PM me your entries by 8pm, on Tuesday 25th August which will give you lots of time to work on your images. I will not be acknowledging any entries until Monday 24th at the earliest. Please wait until you have finalised your design before sending it and if entering both Showcases, send both entries in one message. Thanks

Please do not use this thread for chatter on unrelated subjects or to argue

Here are the general Showcase rules...

The theme will be announced and you will have a set time by which you can create your images for entry and submit them. These must be no bigger than 400*150 for signature showcases and must adhere to all forum rules regarding suitable material. They must also be your own work.

Your images should then be PMed to me....NOT posted on the forum or in this thread. This way we can keep the creator a 'secret'. Any entries that are posted on the forum will not be included in the choices for the showcase. It is also preferable that you do not show any friends your entry to go along with the anonymity thingy.

The entries will be uploaded to an image host and, after the closing date and time is up, they will be posted in a thread on the forum for you to cast your creative and judgmental eyes over and across.

Voting takes place by PMing me your 1st, 2nd and 3rd place entries.

The creator of the signature with the most points at the specified closing time will be announced in the thread along with the second and third place entries.

The next theme will be suggested by the winner of the last round although this will need to be approved by me so that it is all appropriate and stuff.

Oh does that still say that?

It was a small image (I made it so it was bad

) that people could place in their signatures to show that they won but it took people's signature space over the limit if they had a 400*150 image there already and we stopped doing them.

I'll remove that bit as it sounds way more exciting than it should
