Since I've had a few questions on how to create my Cerberus Sig, I've decided to construct a tutorial. This tutorial should work well with any image that doesn't have a very good background or no background at all. As well as the tutorial, there is a "Pre-Tutorial Section" which explains what extras you will need to create a sig of your own. It also 'briefly' explains how to use the liquified effect in a background. If you are using a Photo Editor without this feature, don't worry, I have created a few sample images which are located under the Tutorial section. I will also add more if there is a request for a specific colour or shape. ![]() Tutorial -Liquified Sig Tutorial Pre Setup (Must Read) -Liquified Sig Tutorial (Page 1) -Liquified Sig Tutorial (Page 2) -Liquified Sig Tutorial (Page 3) -Liquified Sig Tutorial (Page 4) (or) -The Final Layer Structure __________________ Sample Images I hope I haven't confused anyone. Let me know if this has helped you in any way.

Fixed the Image. The file was over the Size limit of Photobucket.

You'll have to click the thumbnail Icon itself. If you click elsewhere, it will select that layer as well (but not select as in the running ants)

You should have 3 layers for your character. A bottom level with a multiply effect, a middle Level Black Layer, and a Top Level full Characte Layer. The Character Layer should be grouped with the Black Layer so that when you tun the Black Layer invisible, the Character layer should do the same.
As long as you have the three layers, you should be fine. The image is there to show you what it should look like if the Black layer is set invisible.

The centre part looks good. You could probably work a bit more on the outside if you splatter some more paint around the place.

You may have to use Colour Burn or Linear Burn. It depends on what colour you used as your base colour. Also, White and Black won't work. White disappears, and Black has no effect. The opposite happens when using the "Dodge" components.
If you are using a white layer, try splashing some colour onto it. Even a slight shade will help.

I'll have a go, unless it's a sports sig. Won't be ready too soon as it's 1am at the moment.
Also, What program are you using?

When I finish Tottenzan's Sig, I'll post the PSD file to him as well. It may help show how it should look like in the end.
Alot of my sigs tend to be indepth, the key is to keep putting more onto it and continually add more layers. I have a whole layer set up on Cerberus just for his eye colour! All my Sigs in my Album probably have more then 20 layers each. But I find it's the best way to increase the detail.
