Creating scan lines in Photoshop.
You open a new, transparent image, 3*3 pixels. Use the pencil tool as it will let you paint with squares rather than circles. You'll need to zoom right into the image to do this accurately because the space you're working in is so small. ![]() From the top left hand corner, draw squares diagonally to the bottom right hand corner so that you get a line of them. Now I am not familiar enough with photoplus to make this too accurate. But under edit there should be an option to "Define/Set Pattern..."* [See image below] If you do find something like that, go through with it. Now when you go back to the image you want to apply the scan line too, go to "Edit > Fill..."* [See image below] ![]() Then select the new pattern you just made and select "ok". It's best to lay this pattern over an empty layer so that you can adjust the blending options to make it blend into the image below. Of course you can erase some parts of it in order to make some parts of the image below show through. Result: ![]() I hope that was helpful even though I used Photoshop in example rather than Photoplus. The programs are similar so I hope it shouldn't be too much bother. ![]() To change the colour of the scan lines, you can invert the layer to make them white, or colourise them using the Hue/Saturation tool. Although I think that left simply black or white can make the most effective contributions to an image when blended using the blending options.

no, there isn't.
That's why I did it the slightly longer way with photoplus. I did say, 5 lines, then I'd just copy pasta as a new layer, and move them accordingly. Saved it. Wasn't too bad.
