I've just followed Ayu's tut for some practice.
It erm. It's....different. ![]() Would probably help if I got me some decent C4D Renders....But I never find any that I like. ![]() I like the background....just. Don't feel my image is vivid enough.

I like it.
![]() ~ I think maybe the busy-ness of the background is making the main image less vivid. Maybe trying to define her against the background more would solve that. For example bluring some brushes in black or white and place them behind her and try different blending options and see if that changes anything. As for the C4D render, I always use the same 2 or 3 from Archangel Designs. ![]() Remember that website? I'd get a link but my PC crashes everytime I open Firefox as of 10 am this morning and I have it in my favourites. Can't find it using google. T_T

It does ring a bell.
![]() And hm. I'll give that a go. I tried to duplicate the main image and darken it, but it didn't work out. Also dropshadowed her a little. =| edit: I think this is a bit better: ![]()

I really like that.
![]() I wish I could blend as well as you can. ![]() [Btw - I found ArchAngel designs again. [Click 'ere] In the event you'd want to bookmark it for whatever reason. I mentioned it up there so I thought I should. ]

Just made a desktop, based on my signature. x]
I'm not happy with the left hand side of it, but that can't be helped unfortunately. Blending = weakness. but yeah. I made it first in 1024*786, but cause my desktop is 1280*1024, I had to resize to this ridiculously large size ![]() ![]()

I've done a lot of editing - some resizing was iffy, and the blending was stodgy, and this is my final piece.
![]() thanks very much JET1, but I really don't think I'm that great at design ![]() I'll stick to teaching/journalism ![]() less pixilated in places, and I've redone some of the blending in the left side, and removed the middle pic.
