Sorry mate just a question, are you the author of your Lionel Messi Signature? It's possible that I've already seen posted on Sport GFX Forum | The World's Best Football Graphics Community ?

Please reply me back.

Thanks

What's the equivalent to a Photoshop 'Photo Filter' in Gimp?

I'm not sure there is one.

I was trying to translate a Photoshop tutorial earlier this evening and used all these 'photo filters'.

Hey guys. just some questions:

1. Is there anyway to get soft light on GIMP?

2. Should I make a tutorial on the 'Obist' feature? I looked in the OP and there isn't one, and I use it frequently in my sigs. Of course, most of you here probably won't need to use it, but I could give it a go maybe?

Soft Light is a blending mode like Screen or Multiply. I'm pretty sure Gimp has it.

Might be interesting, but when thinking about a tutorial think about how well you can explain it, whether it will actually benefit others and if there is already another tut on a similar feature.

Just stating those as there have been some tutorials that have been really bad, or taught people the wrong thing. Not putting you off making one, but you are teaching others a technique and you don't want to find out that you've taught them wrong.

Nah I fully understand mate. But my tutorial should be easy to follow, it's quite simple but you can make some good backgrounds and patterns with it.
