Thats really good actually. The player is blended in nicely and I like the colours. The only thing I would change is the text.

Yeah, same. The text kind of lets it down. Not everything even needs text. We can kind of see it's a player and stuff, so it doesnt really need text all over him telling him who he is. Although if you still feel the need to use text, try arranging it a bit better so that it's not straight across and really long.

Here's 4 new things from me; 3 of which were possible showcase attempt type things, but I gave up on them now.

Loving the modern tag with half blue and white.

Latest tags made from a LP vector I made:

Also made a logo for a friend:

Everything you're doing is just getting better and better, Mat. I actually can't believe how creative you are. I particularly love the second "modern" one.

Personally mate i think they're all rubbish! haha! But I honestly appreciate the sentiment.
Idle-Joe, i have the strange feeling of deja-vu with that one. Not insinuating that youve ripped it but the style and layout etc. is extremely familiar.

I think an easy way to make it look more like a postcard would be to use more postcard-like proportions.

It's proportions, not size. Your "postcard" is almost square, and they're never like that. Just look at some internet examples and you'll see what i mean. Other than that, it's okay. I'd've gone less with "smoke" and more with just a more vibrant sunset, maybe make the light beams a bit wider too, but there's not much to add to a postcard because postcards are usually just like they are in real life, no editing necessary.
