Raw is total rubbish. SuperCena can't lose anymore and he just keeps getting uglier and with a smaller move-set each week.

And not only does Cena dominate but it's all the faces. I mean heels almost can't win anymore. My man CM Punk can but in the Main Event picture he's pretty much the only heel racking wins atm, although as usual heels have to cheat to win and so he does.

Almost all of the face MEs need a heel change desprately cuz they are just monkeys to the 10 year olds.

I still watch smackdown though as it is 10x the show Raw is and there is some actual WRESTLING entertainment there

I lost most of my interest in 2007. 2005/2006 were great, after that, no.

I suppose it might be because I am getting older. Hmm..

Good idea to make a WWE chat thread.I hope all WWE fans/haters/watchers post here often about the week's shows and PPVs.

As I posted in the other thread....anyone like Vicky Guerrero's comeback?

Im not a wrestling fan anymore, still tune in every now and again to see whats changed.

The WWF ERA days (late 90's earlie 00's) where the best days in wrestling

and who can forget the wwf vs wcw/ecw? the best storyline ever honestly wrestling has no entertainment anymore its all about the talk not the wrestling.

I watch TNA more than i watch wwe now because TNA still shows alot of what wwe used to.

For example, Fueds only last a few weeks in TNA of corse they are on going but not like 3 matchs ina row with the same 2 superstars.

WWE Cena vs Orton is into the 3rd match now. DX vs Legacy is into 3rd match not to include all the house show matchs raw/smackdown matchs the "tag matches" thrown in where its all the same superstars competeing.

WWE has a global wide fanbase off around 30million, TNA has a global wide fanbase of 70+million.

So it goes to show that the true wresling fans are getting fed up of the lalalala wwe is showing every week.

I agree with you the last golden era in wrestling was the late 90's early 00's. I guess i still watch out of habit more than anything.

TNA is putting on a show aimed at the 18+ audience which is good, while as much as we hate the new PG rated WWE Vince is being smart. A lot of the older fans that used to watch like myself grew up with Hogan and the Warrior, larger than life characters that stepped out of a comic book, it was more kiddie friendly in the 80's much like it is now, then as we got older WWE upped the ante with racy storylines, partly because they had to because of WCW and ECW offering a different product. Now they have reverted back to their family friendly shows to get a new set of younger fans. Much like everything wrestling goes through cycles, wash, rinse and repeat.

TNA suffers from bad booking/Vince Russo(i'll get to him in a bit), it always has they will put a six man X-division match on first at a PPV making it hard for every other perfomer to follow. The majority of title matches don't have a clean finish 90% of the time there is a run-in or some other screwjob finish.

Now on to Mr.Russo. While all the blame can't be put on him he is the head writer however, Petey Williams was let go in comes Cody Deaner (a poor mans Santino but not half as funny), the Motor City Machine Guns have been given little to no ring time, why?, hell even Jim Cornette was recently fired because he questioned the push being given to Eric Young. Don't get me wrong Eric Young has talent but he was in a storyline where he could get fired any week now he leads the World Elite and is in a major storyline with the MEM, give me a break. The MEM are a rehash of the NWO, get some new ideas Russo.

TNA can put on some good matches and they have some real talented performers, but a two hour episode of Impact a couple of months ago featured around 15 minutes of ring time while the rest of the show was interviews and skits.

As for the fanbase Scott Steiner knocked about 2000 Swiss fans off that figure when he tore their flag in two this weekend.YouTube - TNA First Imapct Tour Winterthur, Booker comes to my Cam and Chairs flying into the ring

Well that was the best time for sure.Every show has a peak and starts to deteriorate there after.Maybe this is what is happening with WWE.

WWE needs to do the right thing and push the younger generation more. I think DX have done well to push Legacy. Although DX got on top at Hell in a Cell, at least Legacy were allowed to push them to the limits. I've been really impressed with how far Cody and Ted have come in the past year. Especially Ted Dibiase who looks like a future Champion. At the moment though i think the US Title and Intercontinental Title are where its at with WWE. Kofi, Swagger and the Miz (the new Jericho without the in ring talent?) looks like developing into a good rivalry. Evan Bourne will possible enter the frame aswell. Morrison and Swagger look to have a good rivalry heating up too. Their match was the best part of HIAC. I'm sure Drew Mcintire (sp?) will be in the mix soon aswell. They're the WWEs equivalent of the X-Division.

Anyone else watch HIAC? I was pretty dissapointed overall. Especially with the 2 Title matches. I guess it must be because of some of the previous matches having set the standard. But i was surprised that nobody got busted open at all. And it was a shame nobody went on top of the Cell. WWE going to PG is going to suck aswell. Although its a good business move, because they'll probably get more viewers, it'll suck pretty bad. The WWE was at an all time high during the Attitude Era. The only hope of that returning is if TNA really pushes WWE to up their game. At the moment though, the gap is still too big.

In India it will be broadcasted this Sunday so I will give my honest opinion only after that.
But by watching the results it feels good that WWE is pushing Legacy,Randy Orton punted Cena and Jericho and Big Show continue to dominate.

But notice one thing. If Cena appears on Raw tonight he will be the first person to not get injured by Orton's punt showing off his strength once again and talking lalalala.

Cena is no doubt the new Hogan, with his super human strength. But Orton didn't do a full run up for the punt, so it wasn't as punishing as previous ones. Plus he didn't stay out long after getting put through the spotlight by the Big Show. Although to be fair to Cena he is as tough as they come. They say he returned shortly after his surgeory as if he'd barely been injured. But it is ridiculous how they treat him like a superman.

The Miz certainly has great mic skills but don't underestimate him in the ring. Many have been saying that he is only improving in the ring and that is clearly seen. MIZ for future WWE Champ!

Really?!!!Lemme check!

Edit:Ok I checked. Its good that Miz is the new champion.Swagger vowed that he would be undefeated for the remainder of the year(another Cena?).

Another Orton-Cena match?Seriously again??!!They say its the last time and this time to demonstrate Cena's strength and superhuman abilities they have put his job at stake but not Orton's.And guess the match....its an Iron Man Match(60 mins - Anything Goes). So get ready for another ridiculous show from Cena which will demonstrate his will to not lose because he says so.

DX defeats Jeri-Show.I expected that because of the double standards by WWE when it comes to DX.

At last...the Hornswoggle saga just wont end.Irritating?
