neanderthalensis or rhodesiensis were physically stronger and faster than current humans (sapiens) but in counter part sapiens are more intelligent than them why ??? because in that time neanderthals or rhodesiensis needed to use much more their muscles to hunt animals and get away from predators and what about now ?..... nobody needs to hunt or do anything like that we use by miles more our brain than muscles another example some people dont have any more wisdom teeth or have only 2 instead of 4 in a near future nobody will have them anymore because they're useless for us arm hairs , leg hairs etc... are useless as well in a near future we wont have them anymore since we use clothes hardly you'll see a polar bear without hairs natural selection wont evolute them to this because they'd diewhy being a bit fat is not an advantage for us ? because we dont need anymore energy reserve like polar bear for example we dont take a long time to eat we have supermarkets and refrigerators (way easy to get food) for bears energy reserve is extremely healthy for us is extremely bad

Fido fido fido. How did I know you would be a Bill Hicks man? The guys a genius!
![]() ![]() I thought those quotes were very fitting and lightened the thread, until... Noooo no jokes, this is not a place for humour! ![]() Anyhoo. These kinds of debates only work if everyone is respectful, saying you think someone is an idiot is unfair. Zealot maybe, but idiot is unfair. Having such faith doesnt really make someone stupid - just thicker skulled

i dont have a religion.
i think that you shouldn't look up to anyone who isn't really giving you guidence. people may "look up" to god for the answers, but do they ever get a reply? no. they make their decisions based off of their emotions. just like the people who don't belive in religion except we skip the part of dedicating our lives to someone or something that has yet to be proven real. i like how religion gives people hope for something. i only put hope in myself and those i love. sorry, i like to be slapped in the face in the things im beliving in. religion does hope to deal with grief as we say life and death is in gods hands. but i still see that as flawed. i don't belive in god, but god still controls on if i live or die? no. i could go get a gun and pull the trigger within under 4 mins and that was gods choice? no. that is my decision. only mine. there are way too many people suffering in the world for there to be a god. theres too many deaths and too many arguements over religion. **** that. p.s. i love you sunburned. |

Well life is a test... And it is up to us to pass. God knows all so therefore knows the future so therefore can control it right?

except he doesn't control it.
mostly due to the fact that he doesn't exist. if you belive it in, thats great for you to have something to look foward to when you die and what you do in your life now. but i'll be happy refertalizing the earth 6ft under rotting in the ground. i look foward to tommorow. not my death and goign to a place that a invisible. make your life now your heaven, not when you die. because you're going to have a crappy life only to just lie down in the ground when you die. |

I say: if there is a divine plan and we're all part of it and God is truly omniscient and knows what he's doing...
Why do they protest abortion? Clearly it was all meant to happen. Not bad enough? Next up: The Holocaust. Yeah, if you believe in a divine plan you're believing in the wrong kind of God. Or you're reacting completely incorrectly to the world, at the very least. I'd be more of a "go with it" kind of person because no matter what you could possibly do, God has written it down in his great Book of Destiny. Slightly more logical religions are easier to tolerate and don't bother me much. |

If I were to write an autobiography my "Works Consulted" would just list Frank Zappa and Bill Hicks. Pretty much everything I do or think is based off one of their opinions. Or it's possible I already thought that way and discovering them sort of delineated my thought process. But I'm pretty sure at one point I was a religious Catholic boy. |
