How the hell would I afford it?

And if he's going to university, or something, then what's the point in an 18 year old having a house.
Even if he had a job, he can't necessarily get a house.

>> that was one of the stupidest things I've heard.
You could have at least sounded more intelligent by spelling out "you" and "your".

As has been said: hope he gets better, and life will get back to normal as soon as possible.

Second stupid comment.

Have you not been paying attention to the news? The difficulty for young people these days to buy their own properties is rocketing. Renting is on the rise, but still is difficult. Seriously, how much money do you expect an 18 year old to have saved? At 16 you can work full-time, two years worth of savings won't get you a house. Which would be even more difficult if you are in further education.

Third stupid comment.

You are also not him, therefore your comment is also invalid. You don't know the ins and outs of his life, so you can't really comment on his ability to have his own house at such a young age.

Anyways, sorry for your news, I hope your father makes a strong recovery.

It's a shame you're leaving us, but I wish you and your family the best. I hope your Dad makes a full recovery and the treatment is successful. We'll look forward to seeing you again once things are fine for you and your family again.

Thanks for the support from the majority of you.

As for the idiots in this thread - Instead of arguing i'll just ignore you because i really can't be bothered arguing about this.

seeing as you're going off the internet you might be able to save as many images, backrounds etc and make sigs and all that to keep your computer warmed up?

Oh you're right. I haven't said something. I was pretty ****ed off by Benq's comment.

Will miss you Rumblerege in the real football section. One of few people you could discuss football outside england with. The real football section has really turned in to a joke now when there are so few people who know stuff about football there.

Hope that your father will recover and hope to see you soon again.
