Did anyone see that crash a few minutes ago? It was nuts because how steep the mountain is. Somehow the rider is not hurt but he is still standing by the side of the road waiting for a spare bike. Since his team only has one car I think it will never come. Come on, one of the other teams should be sporting and lend him one of their spare bikes!

You're watching ... live cycling?

I don't know if I should shoot you or myself.

If you shoot yourself I can write the obituary.

yourself, please...
the mountains stages and time trials are always interesting, IMO...

As for the race, Schleck is still leading but only with 7 seconds to Kohl and 8 to Evans. If CSC wants to win the race, they have to get Sastre or Schleck 3 minutes ahead against Evans and Menchov. I don't know what Kohl can do on time trials.

I am still interested in what happened to the poor guy that crashed. Did he ever get his spare bike? He didn't look hurt so it really would suck if he didn't get to finish the stage because of that silly crash. I guess it depends how far back the cars were and if he was able to beat the elimanation time or not.

The way the commentators were talking I assumed that the car with spare bikes were WAY behind this rider. That makes me wonder if one of his teammates that had no chance gave him their bike? Ah yes the most famous climb of the tour is about to start I am pumped!

Well, he wasn't really a big name rider so nobody on his team would give him a bike. Besides, that team only has 4 riders left

They don't really ever mention this on the great climb of the Alpe d'Huez but its more than just the race to win the yellow jersey but its the race to not lose the green jersey. I wonder which great sprinters will be elimanated?

none were, and Freire will take the green to Paris, and Kohl in the polka-dot...

Sastre did amazing at Alpe d'Huez, but i'd like him to have taken another minute.. he's in the yellow, and he's leading with 1.34 to Evans and 2.39 to Menchov...

I think Menchov is out of the race to the yellow, and so is Frank Schleck and Kohl...

Andy Schleck will win the white youth jersey...

Satre did an amazing timetrial since that is not his specialty. Heck this REALLY is Spain's year. First Euro 2008, then Wimbledon, and now they win the Tour de France! Not sure if they do anything these days other than celebrate sporting victories.

Wim Vansevenant is really the man of the Tour de France! He is looking to 3rd consecutive Lanterne Rouge! This is the award for finishing the Tour de France in last place. This has never been done before in history He is 3h 54' 51" behind the leader but only 53" behind the next rider. He is sure to finish last and will complete an amazing feat.

wd to Sastre.

My dad cycled up Alpe D'Huez last year, we went on holiday and stopped at a place about 5mins from Bourg, they went past it in the tour. awesome seeing the helicopter shots of it all.
