Default Desktop vs Laptop.

What do you prefer and why?

Desktop. I don't mix too well with laptops.

I'm awful at using the keyboards..

Laptop because I've always had one. I like being mobile when surfing the web!

Desktop. They're easier to upgrade and don't get horrendously hot. They also tend to be more powerful.

Hmm. Hard one. I have always grew up with a desktop, but now I've got myself a laptop - benefits were taking it round my mates to play sims and stuff. And now, just sitting on my sofa with it, watching telly

I don't know
Desktop normally has more memory and you can replace things easier.
But laptops you can take around the house....i'll tell you when I get a laptop...(be prepared for a long wait...)

Desktop. Cheaper, plays sims better, better internet (Laptop Internet conections can be so fiddly!) and you don't need to charge them every fiv minutes.

It really depends what task I am aiming to do.

Both are good in their own ways.

Depends on what i'm doing - i don't like sitting at the laptop for too long and it's keyboard isn't very easy to use compared to the desktop. I usually use the mouse or tablet when on the laptop too

I'll say desktop because it's what i usually use.

I don't really play any games on the laptop (before it broke anyway) except for C&C Red Alert 2 (old but I love it lol).

Didn't bother installing photoshop on it either for a long while, simply because of the mouse pad, but then when I did install it, I found it alot more easier using the mouse pad for brushing and whatever than I did on my desktop with the normal mouse.

Anyway, I don't really prefer either.....I like them both.

Desktop: parts easily replaceable, gaming, marginally cheaper and screen size.

Laptop: portable!

I've always used a desktop, which I think is better because you can get more for your money. But recently I got a laptop, and I have to say I prefer it now. I loveee that I can use it anywhere.

Shame my dad got me a cheep one though. The graphics arn't even good enough for the sims.
