I didn't even realise skelf is Scottish. I always thought everyone said it.

What do English people call a skelf then?

That's a favourite of mine, along with 'linkified' or 'linkification'.

In real life I sometimes refer to things with licious on the end, such as 'Jaffalicious' for Jaffa Cakes' and 'Eggylicious' for Cream Eggs, for example.
