Default My 2 kids!!!

I have 2 girls aged 8 & 2.I know everyone thinks their kids are great, but what amazes me about my 2 are they are so far advanced with technology etc than i was at their age.Granted there wasn't much for me when i was their ages but in realation to speaking ,reading, writing etc they seem to have much more ability. My 2yr old can actually use the laptop to play her Dora and Peppa Pig games.Although it is said you do learn more from childhood that from adulthood......i hope today's kids have a World to live in before we ruin it for them

My two kids are the same. I was amazed at the computer skills my son had when he was 2.

My nearly four year old brother is quite good on the computer too. He plays Robot Wars on there a lot!

During work experience this week, the receptions were extremely clever for their age, much much more than I was.

My son is a whizz at console gaming, always completes whatever he plays really quickly,(has been an addict since he was 3, though i don't think that was a good idea) not quite so hot with a pc though.

The thread is actually about how far advanced todays kids seem to be compared to when i was one ..thats all, not really about kids in general

I don't think it's such a great thing how far kids are into technology today.

Kids you used to go outside, get activity, and be more social. Now alot of kids sit inside playing video games or going on the compuer all day.

Btw, I'm not saying your kids 'godsend', I'm just saying kids in general.

Got to agree with you Chunky...i used to love playing out and getting totally filthy, we used to have an old bbc computer that had learning games. I was only ever allowed to play on it for 1 hour a week.
