This will sound stupid but how do you get smileys to work, because on mine they dont show up if I wanted to do something like this :P

, you need to use a small 'p'

You can still click on them in the smileys panel too to use them, if the panel isn't showing for you then you can change the editor in your profile. Go to the User CP at the top of the forum, choose 'Edit Options', scroll to the bottom until you see 'Message Editor Interface', select either the 'Standard' or 'Enhanced' interface. When you post replies you'll have the smiley box to the right, unless you are using the quick reply box of course.
