Yes... and No. He makes sence, but some of his quotes just seem a bit weird. I suspose it depends how you look at the meaning.

You'll never really understand what those sayings are like until you are forced to study them for your exam. The sayings have a lot of meaning in them but I just hate having to memorise all the weird language.

No. Soccer is, by a wide margin. You can ask 10 people in the street about their favourite sport and they will definitely say soccer.
