Not so good actually Ah well. Life goes on.
But yeah, EA so far have proven to be pretty good with the downloading thing. We havent had any new users sign up and start a billion threads about "Where's my Downloadzzzzz?!" so that proves its working.
However, in terms of everything else - Date? the same, maybe a little bit earlier. Price? Same. It is a business after all

Whenever something goes wrong, people will join the support forum, which in this case - is the main one - and start a million threads about "i [did activity X] n nw it dznt wrk!?" over and over and over. As is the case with every forum ever that's linked to as a support feature.
Therefore, as i havent seen that happen too much on here, people must not be having too many bad expereinces with it. That or, the only people that are having the problem are those with a brain. That limits it to 5% of the internet's population anyway.

I think I'll go with the digital download. I will have to ask James(My other half) to use his card though,as I don't have one just now. I'll have to be extra nice to him now.

I have never downloaded anything from EA this way before,so can't say if it's a good or bad thing to do,but I'm sure if I do have a problem with it I'll get lots of help from EA on the matter. I have faith in them.

EA Store - RRP, download on release, only have a limited time to re-download any lost game.

Anybody else - less than RRP, delivered before release (usually), yours forever.

... I know what I'd do.

You can. But why should you? If it was a decent service, you'd be able to download your purchases at any time.

And still, buy a hard copy and you'll get it earlier and cheaper. Oh, and manuals, you don't get those with a download version.

Not even as a pdf whatever you call it! That's not good. Maybe I should just order it online, and maybe get it early, and cheaper.

Manual > PDFs!

PDFs > Sending me MS Word documents when I thoroughly detest that damn application you friggin' swines - STOP IT!

If you want to annoy me ever, do that. Then I'll shoot you. In the nipple. Both of them. Then burn your hair. All of it.

This delivery dude better move his butt and deliver my food shopping. I didn't spend three hours yesterday cleaning and de-frosting my fridge for nothing.

We can't go away until this stupid delivery guy arrives.

I'm so fed up of waiting.
