Kevin Yank was the first person to help me see the "point" in PHP. There is no "Hello World!" example. I hate them.

Why would I bother to install Apache and PHP (at a minimum) to display "Hello World!" when all it really takes is "<p>Hello World!</p>"?

Whenever I saw tutorials like that when I was starting out, I'd switch off.

He starts with a date/time example, I think, which immediately helps people see what PHP can do that HTML alone can't.

I'm good Georgia. Just had a farewell party for a mate. He's moving back down to Melbourne. Sad, he's a pretty cool guy, but he's having trouble living in Sydney due to the cost of living here.
I'll try to keep in touch with him.

How was Bon Jovi? How long did it go for?

Sad about you're friend leaving.
Definitely try and keep in touch...and it's great when you see friends who've moved away as it makes it more special.

Bon Jovi was fantastic! It lasted just under 2 and a half hours and played most of my favourites which was good.

The good thing is that if we go to Melbourne for a holiday, he'll know the best spots to go to. I've met a few of his mates that have come up here, and they are awesome!
