My fence was ripped off in the storm last night. My garden is now twice the size it used to be.

Yeah, didn't get killed.
(I'm sure you would have a thread commemorated to my personality, though. )

Same here, no rain kept me up last night, there hasn't been any 80mph winds either. Afternoon all how are we?

Walking home from school there was lots of branches that had fallen off the trees. They were very big branches and had been ripped from the trees.

I just finished reading The Northern Lights for the first time...

I can see now why Sam was so angry at the film. x]

I really enjoyed those books.
I know the film didn't follow it but it was still entertaining in it's own right.

The books are almost always better than the films anyway.

yeah I agree...

the film made me want to try reading it. I didn't get into it the first time I tried...I guess the fact my 'friend' was reading it put me off. >>

I think the story gets better with the other two books in the series.

I'm wondering whether to read the other one just yet or not. They're sam's books, and whilst he'll relish the thought of my reading a)something of his and b) a book I wasn't into when I was more of a bookworm than I have time for now, I don't know if I want to continue.

I think it'd end quite well where it is. >> I'll wait for the cliffhanger to dawn on me first.
