[Handheld] PSP Manager Mode Bug

I've just concluded a season with Werder Bremen, winning the league. After concluding the league, it gave me a screen shot of my manager sitting down disappointed, saying that it was a failure, not to those exact words but something like that. Even though that seem odd, that isn't really the problem. After finishing the season it went to final league table, the next screen was the transfer alerts screen; since I didn't have anybody with a contract extension due, it gave me a pop up telling me so, after that pop up I pressed continue and its stuck on the contract alerts screen. It's not frozen, it's just stuck there, with music playing and the background graphics is animated (there's a rainbow-like graphic on the left side the which shines and flows) with any problems... the screen is just the background, and it doesn't give me any options to proceed anywhere. I didn't know what to do at first so I proceeded to restart the PSP, so it forced me to play my last game again which I did and after doing so, it continued to the same process where it lead to the contract alerts screen and i'm still stuck again. At this point I don't know what to do so I'm hoping you guys can help me.

I haven't even tried Manager Mode yet, just playing a plain season with Arsenal. But I have encountered some strange bugs that result in my system shutting off. Your issues are further reinforcement that FIFA PSP = EPIC FAIL.

Well I'll be damned, it has happened again! I just finished a season in Manager Mode managing Porto and I'm once again stuck at the Contract Alerts screen. Again, the game is not frozen, it just doesn't give me an option to continue. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but I did notice something I hadn't noticed before, it makes faint winding noise, almost as if somehow it's stuck. Honestly I don't know if other games makes these sounds, but I've just never heard before. Anyways, is anybody experiencing the same problems as I am? Is this a known issue? If so, is there a fix for this problem? At this point any help would be appreciated as I really don't know what else to do here.

I've had it when my PSP randomly turns off, I've always thought my finger just slipped at turned it off on the side though.

i have this problem.

When i play one match, the PSP turn off, and i don't click the botton.

Is this a bug or my psp is broken??

NO, my PSP doesn't randomly turns off nor does it freeze... as I've explained before, whenever I am in manager mode and make it all the way to the final and you finish a seasons, it takes you to several screen including one of that gives you info on players whose contracts are almost due, but in this screen is where I always get stuck. It doesn't allow me to continue the game. Is that a bit more clearer?

i've got the same problem. the psp stucks on the contracts alert page after completing a season in manager mode. the contract alerts page is empty (no player needs a contract), the music ist still playing, but you cannot procede.

unfortunately i didn't find a solution to this problem on the net.

can anybody finish a season in manager mode on psp?

does it help to have one player, that needs a new contract?

I have the same issue, fifa says to delete all your save data and start over completely

Wow, did you speak to their customer support or did you read this somewhere else? Anyhow, I just deleted all the saved Fifa10 files from my PSP. I will start another season and I will confirm once I'm done. Wish me luck. THanks!!!

actually I found a workaround. not very satisfying but it works.

i transferred my career to a ps2, played the last match of the season and transferred the career back to the psp.

unfortunately i don't own fifa 10 ps2 so i had to rent it. hopefully i don't have to do that every season from now on.

I've had this problem once but I had saved before the last game, so I just went back and played it again and it worked ok.

I save after every game bacause of the other problem mentioned on here about the PSP randomly switching off, It did it a lot on 09 so I just do it out of caution now.

I had this issue. Instead of playing the last game after reloading the saved profile. I simulated it. When it progresses from there is allows you past the contract alert(DONT KNOW WHY!!). It then asks you to play the last game again(AGAIN DONT KNOW WHY). After you sim again, you are onto the new season. Give it a go, worked for me. I had four seasons saved. I wasnt going to lose all that!
