I know there's no confirmation whether a 3rd 'FIFA Street' would be made, but I for 1 who would like to see this game to be made (especially for the next gen consoles)
My advice would be take most of the concept from 'FIFA Street 1' with RTS rather than the complicated 'FIFA Street 2' version (plus have more vast range of trademark products, Nike stuff is really lacking in the 2nd game) . Adding to that would be the creation zone from 'FIFA Street 2' (which is great, player & pitch wise) New stuff could be added is new game mode which allows you to set up a mini tournament. Also, I reckon it's a good idea in create player option, it's allowed to pick the gender of the player, cuz it's pretty sexist not allowing girls who are huge football fans creating themselves in the game. As for RTS, I much preferred 'FIFA Street 1' version, but I reckon a bonus level should be added at the end of the tournament, where you pick whatever the player who is available in the game, but you haven't encountered to unlock him throughout your journey. Same concept as pay the skill bills to Vs. this player & their team, if you beat them, you get him in your squad. Cuz it's pretty frustrating that you can't have your fave 7 football stars in 1 squad, but to settle with the 1's that made available... |

Thanks for the heads up, I've found this on IGN:
"GC 2007: EA Shoots for FIFA Street 3 Get on the ball with the next-gen version of urban footie. US, August 26, 2007 - Electronic Arts has done well for itself with most of its streetball games -- NBA Street and NFL Street both have had a solid run -- but the soccer version FIFA Street hasn't made the same impression. That said, the team is calling up the franchise for a third edition, this time with the power of next-generation consoles providing the power/stylee for what is hoped to be a fresh new start for the series. EA officially confirmed FIFA Street 3 in a small mention about the game in an official press release earlier this week. In development at EA Canada, the game was shown behind closed doors at the Leipzig Games Convention. Official details about FIFA Street 3 are not yet available for the public, and the game has not yet been officially announced for release in any for specific territories (the game is being shown in Europe, so we'll assume it's coming there, and FIFA Street 1 and 2 had releases stateside and elsewhere in North America as well.) Exact platform plans were not officially announced either, other than that the game shown at GC was "next generation consoles" -- this is assumedly PS3 and Xbox 360, but it's not known yet whether Wii fits in the plans or if other current-gen systems or handhelds will see FIFA Street 3." I hope they don't make the same lalalala like FIFA Street 2. I liked the first alot and the second was a complete disaster. Also the features that I wanted on it are:
Full Customizaton on create a player: From the face to the clothes Adding national clubs such as Man Utd, Real Madrid, Inter, Lyon, Benfica, etc More street international courts: Some missing coutries like Portugal, China, Greece, etc An improved Create a court More nations Game-play and Camera angle like FIFA Street 1 Be able to import our logo for the created teams using the hard disc (for the next gen consoles only) And the most important some decent Season (I didn't liked that season from FS2) Till now, FIFA Street 1 is the best of the serie, FIFA Street 2 is very boring. Since the new game is coming for consoles like XBox 360 and PS3, I would liked to see some of the features above instead of only an improvement of graphics. |

Also, have on the options menu where we get to choose to either stick with the classic gamebreaker (shoot from where ever we want) or the slightly more challenging 1 (where you gotta run back to the center of the pitch). Cuz some people might like 'FIFA Street 2' version better while others (like me) much prefer 'FIFA Street 1' gamebreaker...

Also, I found out that the release date is on 30th November 2007. I dunno is that specifically (released) for R1 (America) or including R2/R4 (Europe & Australia), or with a later date...

I agree, hopefully it's (screenshots/clips) released next month, & see whether it's an improvement from (the slightly disappointing) 'FIFA Street 2' or superior to (the brilliant) 'FIFA Street 1'.
If there are any news, please post images/links on this threalalalalala my best to keep you guys up to date if I find anything new.

i found that FIFA street 2 got very, very difficult towards the end on Underground on Xbox console. I couldn't finish the game it was that difficult, and believe you me, i finish a lot of games. I think the difficulty could be lowered but the prospect of a FIFA street game for next-gen gives me the shivers.
