Have a message read out in the FIFA 09 in-game podcast

Just thought it worth mentioning this here...

Us EA SPORTS community managers at EA have been set against one-another. We're all on Twitter, you see, happily pinging devotees of our various games with DMs and RTs etc.

However, the big boss of EA SPORTS Online just sent us all a brief email. The email says whichever of us gets to 10,000 Twitter followers first will get a "prize".

I have no idea what that prize might be, but I'm up for the battle!

Thing is, I don't want just any old 10,000 followers. The only people I want to talk to (or hear from) are those interested in either footy or FIFA 09/10 (perferably both). So in an attempt to best my North American comrades, I thought I'd appeal to you lot.

Firstly, when I get to the magic 10,000 - if that actually ever happens! - I will give my "prize", whatever it is, to someone drawn at random from all the new followers.

Secondly, every 1,000th follower I get will be offered the chance to have a message read out in the weekly FIFA 09 podcast. That's the in-game podcast, which is heard in consoles all across the English speaking world. Got something to say to the FIFA-playing masses? This could be your chance!

Let me know what you think... and more importantly, tell your mates!

Hello Rom, I got into an arguement with one of the members in the fifa forums about the Strength of the African Nations in the World Cup. He believes that the CONCACAF should get more spots in the World Cup than African Nations because he doesnt believe that the AFRICANS have enough depth to be in the world cup. I want to know what you and Stevie think.
