Manager Mode Freeze While Simulating

Anyone else have this problem? After the last friendly before the season (in EPL) my manager mode will freeze while simulating (somewhere around 30%).

I cleared my system cache, deleted my profile and deleted my manager mode. I made new ones and I have the same problem.

I had this problem in Fifa09 after about 4 seasons where it would just freeze during simulation. In Fifa10 it wont even let me start the season.

I have the latest patch on X360. Any suggestions?

delete the cache and try playing it offline.
Maybe the patch is messing it up

OK, I've tried it about 4 or 5 times (making whole new manager modes) and it froze on me at the same spot every time. Each manager mode I made transfers and upgraded my staff.

This time I made no transfers, made no upgrades and simmed into the season. It worked this time. We'll see if it lasts after I make my upgrades and transfers.

Just played my first match of the season (after making transfers and upgrading)... Froze at 4% for simulating.

This game is unplayable. I'm going to try and return it.

I tried it one more time. Without the patch. New manager mode. Still freezes when simming into first game of the season.

I tried installing the game to the harddrive. No good. Same thing.

Ive had this problems in previous versions of FIFA as well. Only way to avoid is to keep multiple saves going and alternate on the saves. For instance, Season1 and Season2 and alternate saves each day. If you have the freeze thing pop up then you can go to the other save and you wont have lost much data.

Had the same problem when trying to advance to my 2nd season in MM, screen freezed while music still going in the background. Seem to be a bug inherited frm fifa 09.

The bug seems to be related to transfers/having a big squad. Mine hasn't freezed and im currently into my 4th season and i haven't made any transfers but ive made staff upgrades.

It seems to be inherited from 09. I don't remember anyone encountering this problem in Fifa 08. The freeze glitches i remember which were common in 08 was it would occasionally freeze in the Arena just before a match or it would freeze when making a substitution and show the camera panning around the stadium.

Now in FIFA 10, I've got a similar problem. But this time, instead of locking up when it's simulating it does it at the very end of the match, when the "Man of the Match" screen comes up.

I can simulate a game just fine, and play it for all 90 minutes too but it just freezes up when it gets to Man of the Match part. So lalalalaing weird.

Do you have a 360? If so, how can I install the game on my HD

Press Y, choose the option install to HDD (before starting the game of course).

Thanks!!! I never knew that I could install my games directly on the Hard Drive.

Does that mean I can borrow my friends game and install their game on my HD?

you still have to have the disc to run the game as they dont want people to rent games, rip to HDs, and then take them back

Yeah I've literally just entered my second season and about 8 or so games in when it started happening.

Reason why MM is freezing all depends if you use the the same settings from your manager mode with everything else. Ex. If you if have the auto save on this is the problem. lets say for example whatever team you are playing with in your manager mode and you use a custom formation with that specific team and save it (obviously) but then you also use that same personal settings with your VP or online matches or any other mode but use the SAME formation with a different TEAM, there lies the problem. If you check on team management you will see a GK in a outfield position with no name only some weird lalala number. Guess it s a glitch where you cant use the same formation or make some kind changes while using the same settings ALL the time. Thats why you use different settings saves and if you want squads saves with your manager mode,VPs,Tournaments,online matches ,etc. And always manual save.
