Default 10 Game Online Losing Streak Everton

I Play as Everton and i'm on a 10 game losing streak, up until this streak I had about a 50% win ratio

I use Either the default formation 4-4-2 (which plays like 4-5-1) or the 4-1-2-1-2 formation.

I need tips from others who play as Everton

Alternatively try a 4-5-1 Formation which will give you plenty of options going forward while still retaining solidity at the back....

Agree that in a 4-4-2 you should stick with Saha and Yakubu up front, but play Saha on the right side up front and Yakubu on the other side... Saha's left footed and it's deadly so when he cuts in from the right you can really utilize that left foot with the finesse shot to curl it round the keeper into the bottom left hand corner!

In a 4-5-1 though where you need to sacrifice a forward in favour of more attacking midfielders go with Saha all the time... NEVER even consider Jo! he's just the pits in the game! Have Yakubu on the bench ready for when Saha tires!

Use Arteta on the right wing and for all Spot Kicks
Bilyaletadinov should be on the left wing with Cahill supporting the front 2.

Fellaini and Neville should be your central midfielders in front of the back 4...

Those 4 should be Heitinga (Right) Jagielka (Centre) Yobo (Centre) & Baines (Left)

Job Done and enjoy breaking that loosing streak....

Cheers for taking the time to reply guys

I already play yakubu and saha on opposite sides.

I'm gonna try 5-3-2 and 4-5-1.

I might try switching arteta and Bilyaletdinov.

Personally I think i'll take rodwell over neville, his height just swings it?

either that or arteta in the middle and pienaar on the right.

pienaar is only 75 overall, but has great agility

Thanks very much for that AdrianPSO, you are correct I am new to the game, only having it for about 14 days.

And yes yakubu is everything you want in a striker but saha seems to get more goals.

my formation is using man utds 442 like this
howard
heitinga yobo distin bains

arteta cahil fellaini pienaar

yakubu saha

main things yobo speed and distin strength in defence
pienaar fast with skill down the wing and fellaini's height is useful in the center
yak has to be number 1 striker pace power goals

Yak has the Pace and Power yes... But his finishing is not as good as Saha's... The OP is right in what he says, Saha will get you more goals than the Yak in a 4-5-1. Better in the air too is Saha!

Pienaar is indeed very quick and nimble footed in the game (5 star skill attributes), but lacks stamina and strength so therefore tires quicker and gets pushed off the ball a lot more due to his size... I would never utilize him in midfield when you have better options there in Cahill, Arteta and Fellaini... Bilyaletidinov is just a better all round package than Peinaar too!

Pienaar = Game changing midfield super sub!

I think my game lacks variation due me playing so many left footers and never really cutting inside, this would be fine if i could actually score crosses or the wingers were pacy. i think i'll try playing pienaar and arteta out wide to change it up

I had this exact same problem i had about a 70% winning percentage after about 30games then all of a sudden i lost like 15games on the bounce.

Check who ur being lined up against after the match - I found for some reason i was being lined up against the better players, for example one guy i played had 300wins and 40losses....And most others had like 90%+ win ratio....

So yeh it may just be matching u up with the best players for some reason....it's stopped doing it for me now though so u may have to just ride it out.

I use the default:
gk-howard
lb-baines
cb jagielka
cb-yobo
rb-hietinga
rm-arteta
cm-felliani
cm-cahill
lm-bilyitinov
cf-saha
st-yakubu

Its done it for me. Billyitinovs crossing is great for saha and yak to get there heads on, and his skilled dribbling is great. Arteta is arteta, play him any where in midfield he does a good job. i use him as rm for his crossing and his skilled dribbling also. He is good for cutting inside because he can shoot with both feet. Yakubu has the pace and power plus power shots. Saha pretty much the same, but his finesse shots seem better. Jo is a great impact sub, how has plenty of skill abilitys and is Evertons fastest forward, but getts knocked of the ball to easy. The defence explains itself.

I'd love to say that was my excuse but their ranking points at the end of the game are usually only about 100 more than mine

Theres nothing wrong with his formation, if he used to win 50% of games how all of a sudden is he gonna lose 10games on the bounce? I'm telling you he's being matched up with the better players who have 2k+ skill points, it should stop matching him with them after a while... Just another flaw in this game..

The worst part is it's about 15 with Everton, as i won an international game in the middle of this streak.

I'm gonna take a break from the game over the weekend, I'll post how I do on Monday.
