Thanks, tried that too and same problem, its now letting me into matches once every 4 or 5 times so i'm wondering if its just a connection problem EA is having...but surprising not more people are having it if that's the case...oh well it minimizes how often i get manhandled!

is your connection to the internet coming from a router? maybe your ports arent open

Well i'm able to connect to the Pro Online games, just not head to head, I haven't checked my ports since i'm connecting to other Fifa 10 online games...i will check that tonight to be sure

i just turned on email notifications last night and i played a few games. i still havent received any game reports. does it take a day or two to get going and also what info is in the game report?

I was about to make a new thread asking when they planned on posting the leaderboards at www.fifa.com/fiwc cause it would be interesting to see, instead of just top 100 in game...

I think EA have done the ranking system like this on purpose. The lower levels come across higher level players because if they win, the higher level player loses a lot of points, opposed to a higher level vsing a even higher level and points being more balanced regardless of win or loss.

Not only that but You can pretty much see if anyone your about to play is of a lower or higher level which would make life much more easier and less-stressful for us top 100 players.

lalalalaing happened to me aswell against a top 50 player aswell.

Is there a reason for it to happen or is it just bad luck?

Just had my worst fear confirmed. The lag I am getting is one-sided. I can't remember a game I lost when there was no lag but with the amount of lag present in most of my games playing online I'm never going to qualify there.
Sadly I live in the middle of nowhere and can't change my ISP

I'll see if things are better/my situation has changed in January but I'm done for season 1.

I will suggest u get a decent internet connection - i have not Disconnected yet in FIWC

im pretty lalalalaed about that. i went to baltimore last year and there was def a good showing! this is a huge mistake because there are a lot of good players here that might be left out. not sure if i wana travel over the pond just for fifa lol
