FIFA 10 Freezing during gameplay- please help! - Page 2

Hi guys.

Same problem here, but it's only when we play with 2 control-pads , when we start the game, 3seconds after the beginning of the match he suddenly freezes?

Are there any solutions yet??

mine froze too today while accessing the menus (xbox 360). Had 3 freezes so far.

Just got a new 250GB PS3 Slim and get the hangups during game play every single game so far. It'll stutter, then freeze, then resume. Audio drops out too.

As soon as i thoughed the second game pad in 2-player mode the game freezes..
Any solutions EA?? Very frustating.. i can't play 2 player mode

Hey man, I had the same problem and heres my solution

CHANGE THE 2nd Controller to no 3.
to do this press and hold the ps3 button on controller 2...then click controller settings...change from number 2 to number 3. It will work

hi everybody, first of all sorry for my englilalalala is a little bit poor... i was having the same problem of lagging issues offline and online while playing fifa 10 on my brand new ps3 (slim 120gb)... like when you play online with a slow internet connection... well... i contact EA support via chat and im posting the conversation and the solution they gave me... i hope you find it useful... my ps network user is Oraparix if someone wants to add me for a good fifa 10 online gaming...

i actualy had the same problem cus' my cousins started changing some game setting i dont know where but i coudnt get to play 1 on 1 because it freezes right of in the kickoff but I researched it and I fixed it by changing controller 2 to controller 3, you do that by pressing and holding the ps button (from the control 2) and getting to controller settings. then reassign it to 3 or 4.

i hope it works but its not a really good way to fix it because it dosnt fix the actual problem but it solves the freezing while playing on multiplayer...

add me if u want a amazing fifa gaming 1 on 1 haha!

im on the xbox 360 and i am having freezing issues too!!!...however i managed to fix the manager mode freezing..all i did was download my game into my hardrive and now my manager mode dosen't freeze...but i cant play online or play 2 player because it always freezes in the beginning....i need help with this because i did so much work on manager mode and virtual pro and i refuse 2 delete my data just for it to work again...people say that the freezing is caused by corrupt data and you have to delete it for it 2 work...that is not an option for me...please help with this EA...because this is a huge issue and it is ruining fifa for me....i kno so many people experiencing this problem...please help the public!!!!!

to me, it looks like a problem with your hard driver in PS3. anyone tried to replace the hard disk of PS3? (I think it's not a bad idea that you change to a disk with more storage even it's finally proved not a fix to the problem. I changed to a 320G disk last year. I do think someone having similar problem can try that)

Well the long and the short of it is FIFA 10 is a bug riddled mess and EA appear have washed their hands of any further attempts to fix it.

players mising, players sub'd makes the game freeze, general freezing.....its the squad files. when the system tries to access corrupted data it freezes. I posted a thread last night about it, check it out it may help.

all the other stuff is over ma head, sorry!!!!

I also have encounterd the freezing but so far only when trying to play a 2 player game with a friend, if he touches any button on the second controller the game stops and freezes meaning i can no longer play 2 player matches with friends which is what i prefer doing now im unable to enjoy fifa i have to play PES 2010 instead which i must say dont have the same excitement im sure it can be fixed with an update i have read you have to sign out and play with no profile signed in which is a pain but i would like to know if there is a fix i had fort it may of been my disk but it seems perfect not a scratch please please try and fux this EA im a long time PES Fan but decided to go for Fifa but its outcome has so far been a bad one!!

I have a Xbox360 Elite btw

I've got ab rand new PS3 250gb slim and I've had the problem since day one and it's really getting on my nerves because it's becoming more frequent. Sometimes it will stutter for 2/3 seconds then resume. You can see the HDD light up and flash when it does it as well.

Mods, have you found a solution to this?

Also, when I edit my formation my players disappear and turn in orange dots on the formation screen. I've also had a problem with the PS3 freezing in two player mode from kick off whenever Player 2 moves and I've had to reset the system.

What the heck is the solution to these problems. The same lalalala used to happen on my Xbox 360 version on 09! Mods, is there an answer for this.

It's an utter disgrace and I'm very close to getting rid of this game. EA is a disgrace! Mods will there be an update to sort this problem out. What the heck has EA been doing this year? Fight Night 4 was riddled with problems as well. What's going on with this companies products? Have you layed off all the testers or something? This is just shocking.

Try to copy your saves and data of FIFA 10 to a USB stick or memorycard so you have a back up. Now delete everything from your console and start the game fresh. Does it still freeze?

In the pre-match menu, go to "wireless controller configuration", press R1 and check youre button config. If youre game freezes, it's propably because all the buttons are "undefined". This was the case in my game as well as a friend of mines.

i have that problem all my buttons are undefined but how can i change them?? please help!!! its not fun if you cant play with a friend

Just press either L2 or R2 to scroll between button configs. When you find one you like, just press back, and strat playing the game :P

I have the same two problems of:

1) Unable to load any manager mode games. (PS3 freezes right after loading screen)
2) HDD spins a lot (Yellow light blinking all the time) during online play, leading to frequent freezes.

I just bought my PS3 and it possibly could not be a hard disk issue, I believe. All other games work fine.

Please EA, come up with some constructive solution other than formatting, deleting saves, etc. THEY DO NOT HELP!
