Manager Mode Question! Needs Answers!

Didn't Rutter say our FIFA 10 MM, Money balance would be refreshed, after a season? Or at least changed on how well the team was going? Because im sick of having to use $5 million for all of my career at a club like Cardiff!

I believe he did. Someone who already has the game posted that he went from having $ amount of millions at the end of one year to having -$ amount of millions..

Yes that was me at Barca. I had negative $2.5 billion

wow..so was that a glitch..or maybe the renewal of some contracts..did you have good attendance during the season??

Maybe it means that the board feels like you have an okay squad so you shoudnt buy any players and thats why they decreased your budget.

Mhmm, i dont know, i think its a glitch. I spent all my money at cardiff and the next season, i had the same amount of money as the season before at the end. So i had to sell some players. I read that they refreshed our money, or at least gave us a boost.

Only cash I got was from my sponsor for my 2nd season with Walsall - But the Walsall board are tight in real life so thats spot on realism!

EDIT - Although they did increase my wage budget by 3k.... Managed to squeeze 2 players out of it!

Lucky, I have been mislead though, I used all my money in the first season and now i have none, beleiving it would be refreshed since i Joined the EPL

I finished my first MM season with west ham, won the Premiership and the FA cup ended the season with £2.5million in the bank, new season rolls round and i have -£2.3million...

I wasn't awarded prize money for winning said competitions and the magic elves have run off with what small funds i did have during the summer break. thus ruining my MM.

This so far is my only gripe/bug with the game but its ruined manager mode for me. the actual game play is fine but the presentation and attention to detail is AWOL.

I cant believe it, this just happened to me, I was at Everton, ended the season with £7 Million in the bank and £103,000 a week spare for wages

and when the new season started I was -£2.7 Billion in debt and the wage budget was -£755,000. also my manager rating has been reduced from 4 stars to 3 1/2!!

Please tell me there is a fix for this?! if not I will be very annoyed, ive done 4 seasons and got an amazing team

its not the budget thats the problem its player wage limits...

happened to me to. in my 5th season. i had been buying players, getting them high ratings & selling for huge profits had £100m in the bank & 10 on everything including stadium. had top players like fabregas 30m, wilshere £18m then next season i start with -£2.471 billion. the game suX with bugZ

Ouch that sucks! Still though, the programming side of my brain says that theres SOME REASON why this would happen. Think of it as a calculator. The computer doesn't just make up numbers. It came to that number through a serious of calculations. So somewhere along the line, you did something to put yourself into the negatives. Perhaps you had the money from selling off players, but you exceeded your player wages?

We can complain all we want, but you can't count on a patch. So if we can figure out what the reason is, maybe we can avoid this somehow. Not defending the game, but I'm hopeful theres a workaround.

I just started my 3rd season of manager mode. Moved from A.Villa to Napoli. I had roughly a balance of +50m€ left behind with A.Villa.
First thing I noticed after joining Napoli was that I had a balance of -2.147.483.640€ and remaining weekly wages of 18.410€.
Even winning games and receiving ticket sale money and sponsorship money doesn't affect my balance. I have over 2billion minus regardless of any money I earn.
It gets frustrating since the staff is pretty poor, none above 5 stars...

I couldn't really give a stuff about the money balance because players won't sign for me anyway. Ive tried to sign 10 players since becoming Middlesbrough manager and they all decline no matter how much i offer or change the contract length or bonus.

My friend told me he picked Inter for the MM and they were 30 million in debt and already!

I was fired from one club, signed w/ another immediately, and my starting budget was: -$2,147,483,646.

EDIT: Also, I was fired after about 10 or 11 matches, and I was given the "Completed an entire season w/ out simulating any matches" achievement.

moved from Lyon to Real Madrid; was misled twice by the bugets(transfer and wage) changed twice, from 130million transfer budget and 1 million something for the wage budget, upon signing it chanegd to 83mil and 750k wage budget. And upon starting it went to the above......
I went back to a save before switching, this time Re-signed for Lyon and the Transfers was blank, no value in there. and the wage budget was through the roof.

Im going to backup my saves and profiles; delete them from ps3 along with fifa10 game data etc.
Reinstall the patch and give it one final go, if it appears again it'll join the insulation in my roof.

the money available when selecting a new team starts at 130 mil ok. when u sign for them the computer resigns the out-of-contract players and therefore u have less wage and transfer budgeet. simple.

I signed for liverpool after 3 seasons with middlesbrough, and was in the exact same amount of debt -£2,417B, after losing a cup game I was sacked, so I signed for blackburn, and once again i was in -£2,417B debt. So this can't be down to a calculation is everyone is ending up in the exact same amount of debt. This needs to be fixed its ruined my manager mode.
