Default Demo Impressions Part 3

Here is the final part of the Demo Impressions from Micheal at Gamescom.
Skilled Dribble
This is huge. I tried to use the new feature many times but i failed to succeed most times as it was tough to get used to at first. People will get excited about this new feature as it is one of the most realistic out of
all features perhaps. One example was when i was running down the touchline i managed to cut back inside using skilled dribble. (Ronaldo Style). Looked great. The most wonderful thing is that the skilled dribble
fits in perfectly with the new 360 dribbling system. I makes the movement of players better. I guarantee that when September 10th comes everyone will be stunned.
Manager Mode.. (This is based on an Interview i had with David Rutter)
I) Commentary - The commentary is good. I like the new commentary for manager mode. The commentary during Manager Mode games includes things like (Form, Transfers, Board, Results etc..). For example
"With Andrey Arshavin at Liverpool, it looks as if we have new title contenders". That's not exactly what it says, but Rutter said it's something along the lines of that.
II) Crowd Realism - People have asked about what the crowd will be like. Well according to Rutter it's improved. He said for leagues like the A-League, MLS etc.. wont have big crowds every game. The
crowd numbers vary on form. The crowd noise is improved. When a goal is scored there are louder cheers. Boo's when the referee gives free kicks against your team and things like that.
III) Frantic Celebrations - This is great according to Dave. He said when a late goal or a goal against a rival is scored the crowd goes nuts and the players do amazing celebrations. I assure all of you
that this will be a big part of Manager Mode.
IV) Transfer Market - This is a good improvement. Rutter said that this year it is much harder to sign players. For example if im Tottenham and i want to buy someone like Andreas Iniesta id have to make sure
the board will allow me to make this, then i have to make negotioations with the opposite club and player. The transfer market is better with the sorting and everything. Overall the TM is much better
in FIFA10.
V) Messages - This is also improved. I actually got to see this part. He showed me a video. It popped up on the Hub Screen and so easily allowed me to access it. One message Headline said: "I think we can settle with
this deal!". Then the actual message said: "Your board has allowed you to go on and make a bid for Robbie Keane. The board says that this would be a great addition to the club". That looked nice when i seen it
and im expecting more good ones like that.
VI) Player Growth - I like this part in Manager Mode. Rutter says it's good with the Mental, Physical and Skill attribute's because when a player gets older they find it tougher to stay strong, but they still have
the mental ability and skill ability in them. The images Dave gave me were really good. One player for example was Ryan Giggs. The image showed that Ryan's Skill ability was top notch, but his physical ability
wasn't too good but his mental skill was up their aswell. So this meant that at that point in time of the Manager Mode Season Ryan wouldnt be able to tackle good, but he would have the knowledge on reading
plays and the mental strength in taking rival matches the same as normal matches. I love this feature and im sure all of you will too.
VII) Assistant Manager Help - I like this idea. Rutter said that the assistant really does help. During cup games for example Liverpool v Notts County or something like that would mean the Liverpool assistant
would put out the reserve squad for that game. Depending on the team they play. The assistant gives you advice before and after game aswell.
VIII) The Seasons - My favourite part is that it's not game over once your sacked/fired. Dave showed me a video of his team Wigan Athletic sacking him as manager. Then the Hub screen showed available jobs. He took the job at Pompey.
This is great! People will love this. The higher your reputation the bigger the club will be. If you start with someone like Chicago from the MLS you most likely wont be offered big jobs. The bigger the club the quicker
your reputation grows. Make the most of Manager Mode because it's going to be great!
That's all i can say about the demo and everything at Gamescom. Check the Q+A thread newcastlejets. posted. Im Micheal from Germany and that was my impression on FIFA10!

That's it people. Now it's your turn to decide on September 10th.

Well the first one i had to get done quickly. Which obv meant the second one had to be done afterwards. I didnt think i had to do a third, but someone asked so i did.

Just quoting Rutter on features, when you haven't tested them, is kind of pointless.

loving number 3

If we actually get the same feeling of scoring a late equaliser against a rival as we do in reality... then I cannot wait.
