Default Has the FIFA 09 freezing issue been fixed?

I have a question to ask, this really was... for me, the biggest downfall in Manager Mode in FIFA 09. So, for some reason FIFA 09 manager mode freezes very frequently, I have no idea why and I have read many posts and topics about this before but there isn't a real offical answer about this, which is worrying.

It happened to me at least twice today and at least over 100 times this year which is shocking. This is not because of my disk, it's something inside the game which I cannot do anything about. I used to always have the Autosave feature enabled, I disabled that and used to save manually but that didn't stop the Manager Mode from freezing.

If you play manager mode on FIFA 09 then you will encounter the freeze problem, at some stage anyway. It usually happens when you either play a match in FIFA 09 Manager Mode and when the game loads it freezes, or if you Sim the next match then it freezes too.

David Rutter said that EA have spent alot of time and effort on improving the FIFA 10 manager mode this year. This is great news and very exciting but have EA fixed the problem for Manager Mode freezing? Can someone please tell me that they have fixed this fault/problem or else this will ruin FIFA 10 Manager Mode.

Thanks for reading this and share your views on FIFA 09 Manager Mode freezing issues too, because I know i'm not the only one!

All I wanted to know was whether it worked or not? No need for that above comment. I have read the Manager Mode thread and I have seen nothing related to the freeze bug issue. I have also checked out the FIFA Soccer blog and I have found nothing about this.

Anyone got a link where this has been discussed and answered by EA?

I had 3 attempts of MMode in FIFA 09.

1st season lasted 1 year 2 games before freezing.

2nd season lasted 1 and a half seasons before freezing.

Then I tried for the third time and backed the saved game with 3 other saves.......

Still crashed.

What a complete utter waste of time, each time I bought players for the future but there was no future for my manager mode.

My exhibition mode crashed as well so I had to make a new account to lpay 2 player.

When I complained to EA they sent the same message saying it's a corrupt data file.

It was unacceptable that I paid £40 for a broken game so after 2 months I traded it in.

I am buying FIFA10 next week but I am ready for the manager mode to crash/let me down I am concentrating on online and 2 player.
