Webcams are usually very bad quality.
I suggest getting a friend to take a close-up picture of you in front of a white wall. Remember to be well-lit (camera flash helps but might over-expose if done incorrectly).

So you just copy a photo of yourself onto the PS3 and you can load it in-game? No eye-toy or anything like that?

It's all web-based.
You go to EA SPORTS™ Football World and open up your Game Face widget.
This will let you upload a "Game Face" of you to the EA servers.
Then when you're done with that, you go to your PS3, or Xbox360, and download it to FIFA 10.

If you buy a PS3 eye-whatever... will you be able to upload it to the internet, then back to your PS3?

Best way it seems is to take a "mug shot" of yourself on your phone camera/regular still-frame camera, then upload it to your comp.

The EA Game Face widget asks for your front face, then your side face, so you'll have to take two pics of yourself.

It's just your face. You edit your hair and everything else in the game.
In Tiger Woods for example, you can add more facial features to your face as well (for example: aging spots, freckles, scars, etc.)

Yep! You'll need to be connected to the EA Servers in FIFA.

well im sorry but if the rumours are true that you can purchase stat boosts and other rewards than you have just ruined your new feature. It will be just like Ultimate Team. Whats the point in trying to build up your player when your going to come up against players who have just simply purchased everything from the store......this needs to be clarified. Ive noticed that this has been asked on several different forums and sites but has yet to be answered by anyone official.....If its true than its a real shame because the mode was looking good.

Sorry to sound negative but, please!! Is this a serious football sim?, why not keep these "inovations" for the wii? Could this not have been incorporated into the already established be a pro mode! I can see it now, your playing online and your opponent is playing with Jeremy Smith up front for Man Utd, Jeremy who you ask?, bang goes game authenticity! Sorry to say but EA's resources would have been better spent improving the fundamentals, graffics for example. Looking at the screenies and videos so far there doesnt seem to be a marked improvement from FIFA 09. Anyway I guess we havent long to find out! Gamescon, bit of an anti-climax so far, where is all the info we were promised??

Please, just don't let people buy stats. That would ruin the mode completely. Don't make this mode, as incredible as it sounds, another Ultimate Team. You've done such good work prior to this coming out. I beg of you, keep it simple and core to the game.

DON'T LET PEOPLE BUY THEIR STAT UPGRADES!

Ok I have a question regarding this too. It seems that you can do Virtual Pro online as a Club but is this also the same Fifa Club that will have non Virtual Pro players? Seems a little confusing

I really hope that they finally implement a mode where you can upload yourself (eg. your "Pro") into your Online Club. I'd prefer all "no names" over real names anyday. It's more personable.
But that's just me. I'm sure there's a percentage that strongly disagrees.
