We are offering 25 fans the chance to join us for a hands-on sessions at The Emirates, London on Friday August 14th. The winners will have a chance to play early code, have some lunch and take part in an informal EA SPORTS FIFA 10 Tournament, 1 vs 1.

In order to be in with a chance to win, you need to persuade us that you are someone that should have the opportunity to play EA SPORTS FIFA 10. You have 50 words in which to state your case and do your best persuading.

All entries should be PM'd to EAUK_Competitions (you’ll therefore need an EA account to log into the forums and enter)

Along with your entry, please provide the following information:

• A contact email address (so we can contact the winners)

EA SPORTS FIFA 10 Competition Terms & Conditions

1. General
The opening time and date of the competition is Thursday 30th July 2009 at 15:01 GMT, and the closing date and time for receipt of entries is Wednesday 5th August 2009 at 23:59 GMT. Entries submitted after this time will not be considered.

2. Restrictions
This competition is open to residents of the UK aged sixteen (16) and over only. Employees (and members of their immediate family) of “Electronic Arts” (“EA”) (“Promoter”), their agents and anyone connected to this competition are not eligible to enter.

3. Rules to participate
Participants may enter the competition by submitting a statement persuading the FIFA 10 team that you are someone that should have the opportunity to play EA SPORTS™ FIFA 10. You have 50 words in which to state your case and do your best persuading. Only one entry is permitted per person.

All entries should be sent to EAUK_Competitions via Private Messaging at http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/p...newpm&u=351996 and should include the entrants name, age and contact email address.

NOTE: A vaild EA account is required to log into the forums and enter the competition.

4. Prize(s)
Twenty five (25) prize winners will be selected, from all valid entries. Winners will be determined based on their submissions with regard to originality, humour, [any other criteria].

The winners will receive entry for themselves and one (1) guest to the EA SPORTS FIFA 10 event held at The Emirates Stadium, London on Friday 14th August 2009.

Entry to the event will include the opportunity to play a pre-release version of EA SPORTS FIFA 10, lunch, and the opportunity to take part in an informal EA SPORTS FIFA 10 tournament.

IMPORTANT NOTE: EA is unable to provide travel to and from the venue and strongly recommends that winners secure transportation and any necessary insurance early to avoid disappointment.

There are no alternatives to these prizes. They are as stated and are non-transferable. If due to circumstances beyond the control of EA, EA is unable to provide the stated prizes, EA reserves the right to award substitute prizes of equal value. All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier.

5. Results
Winners will be contacted by email on or around Friday 7th August 2009.

If the winner of the prize cannot be traced after reasonable efforts have been made by EA, EA will be entitled to select alternative winner from among the entrants.

If the winner of the prize does not claim the prize by Monday 10th August the prize will forfeit.

A full list of who won will be available for four (4) weeks following the day of the selection of winners. This list can be obtained by writing to EA SPORTS FIFA 10 Competition, Electronic Arts, Onslow House, Onslow Street, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 4TN

If proof of age is requested, the prize shall not be dispatched unless proof of age is received and if satisfactory proof of age is not received, the Promoter reserves the rights to choose another winner.

6. General Conditions
Any entry, which does not comply with the rules may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of EA. EA is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, misdirected entries, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incorrect, garbled, delayed electronic or other communications or other technical problems related to mobile entries. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of delivery.

Entrants agree that they may be required to take part in publicity without further consent or payment. Such publicity may include their names and/or likeness.

In the event of a dispute, the decision of EA shall be final and legally binding. No correspondence will be entered into.

7. Data protection
In order to participate in the campaign participants must provide certain information on themselves. This personal information is collected and processed only for the purposes of organising, running and monitoring the campaign, as well as for carrying out publicity activities on it. The organising entity shall be considered the data controller for the database containing this personal information.

By entering this prize draw players agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material, which may be amended or varied at any time by the Promoter.

The Promoter of this prize draw is EA Swiss Sarl, Place du Molard 8, 1204 Geneva, Switzerland.

This prize draw is governed by and is in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

I had a valid reason for doing so, to keep the T&C's separate - we do this for the majority of competitions posted on the forum. Fodder007 didn't double post. This is the only time you'll see me "double post" unless the forum throws a wobbly.
