I'm pretty sure they're just updates for next gen. On 09 PS2 I can edit kit numbers and schedule pre season friendlies. Board confidence I'm not sure on that.
Anything goes sounds cool. Go outa bounds behind the goals, lob it over and head home a goal ![]() *Edit* Pick up the ball and play gaelic :P Last edited by supahmann; 15-07-2009 at 09:21 AM. |

I'd rather this than photo-game face. There are more set-pieces in matches than times when you would see your players up close, especially now that there are much less cut-scenes.

It has been confirmed, but now you mention it, I'll add the ability to do long throw-ins to the list. And no cut-scenes for yellow and red cards.

Well in that case, rock on!!
Quick throw-ins is going to be a huge asset in gameplay. I've been preaching FLOW FLOW FLOW since FIFA 08.. and they're finally listening! ![]() I love it. You'll have to add: Faster ball movements (eg. crossing/switching the ball) October 20th for US release date... though I don't think that was 100% confirmed by officials.. |

Yeah, there's a huge feature about online play on the EA site. I'll add all the stuff from there to this thread but I don't have the time at the moment. Going in to a meeting very soon so more updates lately.
If someone wants to go through one of the sources (like the online one) and list any updates here then I'd be grateful! I'll also add a list of links later to sources of confirmed info.

Sounds that way but I don't think so. They are aiming for realism so I expect you will only be able to pick certain stadiums based on the size of your club and league you play in. But you will be able to upgrade your stadium as you progress.

FIFA 10 is already sounding to be so much more impressive than last year's game. Hopefully it is as good as it sounds.

Quick throw ins has not been confirmed as far as I know, unless they recently changed their mind because they said quick throw ins was NOT in before. Rutter said in an interview that there was only quick freekicks in the centre of the pitch, they're contextual. So if you get a freekick in the last third it will be as usual as far as I know.
CPU can do skill tricks. CPU will take curved runs to stay onside. Last edited by ShowerCap; 15-07-2009 at 11:43 AM. |
