I have to tell you Marcel that I am absolutely gutted that there won't be any corrections to the scedualing coding for MLS teams.
Maybe MLS doesn't mean much in the eyes of the rest of the world but Toronto is my home town and I'm a supporters group member. They're the only team I want to play with in Manager Mode and I can't help but feel it's futile due to the sceduale being so screwed up. A proper MLS sceduale has every team playing 30 regular season games NOT 39. Secondly the game has me enter into the US Cup tourney which Toronto isn't even eligible for. Every other MLS team yes, but not Toronto because they are not an American domestic team. Once you factor that out there are no other tournaments avalible to compete in. No Superliga which would pit the top 4 MLS teams and the top 4 Mexican league in a group tourney and no CONCACAF Champions League for all the teams of North America where the eventual winner goes on to the Club Cup. Of course there's also the glaring omission of playoffs for the top 8 teams at the end of the season but that's very unique to our league so I'm not even going to get into that knowing full well how futile it would be. I realize that soccer isn't the top sport in north America but it is growing rapidly in popularity here. For those of us who love it, the errors you've made is just another example of us being shrugged off by the the rest of the football world. In short Marcel, and forgive me if this may seem too dramatic, but I honestly feel your game is doing a great dis-service to the sport on our side of the world. Perhaps that's what many of the Euro snobs want though.. keeping the yanks away from the game and the lowly canadians along with them. Maybe on the other side of the coin we'll see the MLS get some respect by the programmers when Vancouver enters the league in 2011 and it's THEIR hometown team that would be victimized. Sincerely disappointed. Last edited by DJDeadscope; 30-07-2009 at 05:37 PM. |

When you first go into MM where you pick the Name of your manager , currency ect. will you be able to choose the name of the Assistant manager or will your club offer you one or do you have to find one ect.?
And i would like to thank you for realising that MM needed to be worked on, i am so happy with all the new features you have put into MM because i think this game mode is the best game mode out there even for 09

If they do let the assistant manager make subs then I hope I can switch it off. I would hate for my assistant to take control of a match I was playing and managing. That would be totally rubbish imo. Why not let him decide your formation and tactics whilst he's at it!

No-one cares about your life story, and as MK said, it will take almost the whole year to sort out the shecduling system, and about 95% of users couldnt give a lalalala about the MLS!

Will there be adaptive difficulty in Fifa10 Manager Mode or is this planned for the future? They have it in Madden and it would be brilliant in Manager Mode. |

No not neglected by any means. It WAS neglected in 08 and 09. Fifa 10 is the time of change, Manager Mode is been given the attention it rightfully deserves and hopefully by Fifa 11 or 12 just about all the flawed and irritating issue's such as scheduling, loans, no FA Cup Replays will be resolved plus great new features to enchance the whole experience.
If you were on the development team yourself you'd realise how hard it is to revive a broken mode with such limited time available. Great job Marcel.
