The bug is random, (as are most others). Turn off autosave so you can reload and try again whenever you get a bug like this. Usually the game works okay again on the next try.

Hello, my mate has also FIFA 10. When he plays managersmode, something weird happens. The firsts seasons everything is normal, but when he plays like the fourth season or something, and he goes to another club, he can see the budget is for example 24 million. But when he signs, the budget is -2,1 billion :s.
Does somebody knows the cause of this??

Just read the posts below it's a bug with MM, one of many I'm afraid, I think is down to how they tried to make it so smaller clubs could not grow too quickly and like many things in this years title it's been balls up...

Well im only 4 months into my new MM season After the patch so i haven't had the money problems yet but im already fed up with the rainy weather, then i thought i was going ok playing with Everton against Chelsea at Stamford bridge i get a draw after being 1-0 down with 5min to go and my board confidence rockets down after the game. its just not on theres still nowhere near enough injurys. MM fifa 2010 had potential to be great this year but its just failed i dont know how these people at EA who have had anything to to with MM this year could keep there job for Fifa 2011?

Maybe EA rushed the fifa date, remember they said they were working sleepless nights to finish the game but i would be satisfied if they worked within working hours and i get a bug free game in december even january, havnt played an offline mode game in 4 days now.

id much rather of waited for a finished delayed game, im guessing Gran Turismo wont have this many bugs and thats because they are making sure its finished before they release it.

Maybe they rushed???? Dude, EA rushes to put out every sports title they do... that's why they are all bug invested and require multiple patches to become remotely playable.... it's a shame, but EA are only interested in taking your money and don't really care about the quality of their games [just good enough will do] because there is virtually no competition to take their sales if they put out crappy games.

I'm in the 4th season now with MM mode. Played 3 seasons with PSV Eindhoven and then went to Arsenal. Suddenly everything is screwed up... Every club in the PL keeps winning with -atleast- 8-0 against Man Utd (Chelsea scored 11 goals against them lol!), every player at Chelsea has 90+ ratings and now my game keeps freezing at 'simulating' after a match. Simming a game doesn't work either.

I almost got the 5 star manager trophy... damnit! Anything I can do?

12 days and counting since I last touched FIFA10... and now I have crossed over to the darkside... Master League... I am seriously addicted now, I can't stop playing it... so much more depth =/

This game is an absolute joke. FIFA and EA lost so much credit on this sad excuse for a game. I've never seen a game with so many bugs, its obvious they don't care about their products or customers. This should be my favorite game of the year but instead I can't wait to trade it in to get COD MW2.

I've tried that but the gameplay itself is light years behind FIFA unfortunately

How many stars of reputation do you need before you start getting offers outside of Ireland? I've only got 1.5 stars but I've had nothing but Irish offers for 2 seasons now... is that normal?

Was wondering why im finding it hard to extend existing players contracts? i offer them the most my wages will allow and give them bonuses etc but they always seem to decline... any ideas what im doing wrong?

Is it possible to make the players do NOT grow in skills during the manager mode leaving all the abilities like at the beginning? (in pes ther's this option)

You could do something like that in 09, with Manual Growth.

Now you can't...
