Surely ;-)... As I've hinted in the answers to your/weepeeler's questions we have re-tuned the fatigue system - the impact of staff has been reduced, which will result in the players having better stamina off the bat and the players not all becoming "Supermen" when you have a high fitness staff level. In addition we've introduced CPU line rotation, which means that in case the CPU players become fatigued, the CPU manager will actually replace them with another suitable player in their line-up. On a screen level we have changed the layout for the pre-match report as well, so you can actually review your opponents starting 11 on this screen now. Cheers, marcel |

The sponsors are still in the game, but they will not provide you with an "endless" source of money anymore. We wanted to make sure that Manager Mode becomes more challenging. One of the ways we tackled that is to rewrite the financial system. The board will now provide you with a Transfer and Wage Budget at the beginning of the season, the budget allocation will be based on the performance against the boards' expectations. To not alienate users that really like to have more cash in their pockets, we've also added a Board Difficulty Level. One of the effects of setting this to a lower level is, that you will have more cash to spend and even if you're not 100% fullfilling the expectations of the board, they will provide you with a fair amount of money to spend. |

Hi all - as you might have noticed :-), I will drop by this thread once in a while to answer your questions and discuss the Manager Mode feature with you. Looking forward to meeting you all and to chat about FIFA10.
Cheers, marcel |

Im going to throw in a little repeat of the "not enough players"-bug in hope that it will not be forgotten.
I also hope that there is some feeling of accomplishment when winning a season, not just team picture and "until next time Andy". I know Rutter says there isn't any trophy celebrations coming, I just hope there is something. Winning the title shouldn't be the same as winning any game. Other then that I'm impressed by what's being reported, great work.

Hi Marcel Kuhn, thank you for taking the time to inform us on the highly anticipated Manager Mode.
Some questions: 1. Is the bug fixed that if you got promoted from the Championship to the Premier League you would qualify for the ECC? 2. Can we now add players to a shortlist for easier access afterwards? 3. Can we trade players (with maybe some extra cash) 4. VERY IMPORTANT! Is there work being done to fix the loans issue? In the real world lower league sides survive by loaning youngsters or unwanted players from higher league levels. Also 2 loans for a whole season isn't realistic. 5. Will players become unsettled when they don't play many games and request a transfer? 6. When viewing the league table, will the places for champion, European qualification and relegation be visable (highlighted bars...) 7. Will we be able to view other league tables than our own? 8. Are long term injuries now included? (broken leg, whole season out) 9. Will we be able to change our stadium in the Manager Mode? Say you're playing with a lower league side with a small stadium but eventually get them in the premier league, it would be stupid to keep playing in the small stadium... Thank you so much for your precious time. Last edited by Sc0rp1o; 30-06-2009 at 08:06 PM. |

My questions Marcel
1. Will there be career stats, instead of season by season 2. Will we be able to view league tables from the rest of Europe (perhaps only the main leagues e.g. Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Germany, Holland etc) 3. Will CPU squad rotation include first team members or random reserve team players being put into the team (this sometimes happened in 09 when a player would get injured) 4. Can you play the ECC or EFA in your first season if you use a club like Barcelona or Liverpool 5. Are there long term and more varieties of injuries (groin strain, hamstring strain for a month or 2 or broken leg for 5/6 months) 6. Is there more of a balance in terms of the bigger clubs in a league losing games (I hate when Arsenal come 10th or 11th and Sunderland are 4th) |

ok, im new to this, but i read so many replies of people getting mad when sunderland finishes in the top7. i mean IT COULD BE REAL. Look at HULL CITY. They started of great being in 2nd or 3rd for like half the season. then they started losing. But my point is a team can get better. Even a newly promoted team.

First of all, please call me Marcel ;-)...
Sorry, but at this moment I can't talk about new leagues being added as negotiations are still in progress. We always listen to the community and if it was up to us we'd include all teams that exist in the world. That being said there are always two sides that need to come to terms and it is a long process to get these type of discussions completed. Stay tuned - the website and the forums will keep you well informed if anything happens ;-). |
