Premier League Survivalists.

Full Name: Birmingham City Football Club
Founded: 1875
Ground: St.Andrews - 30,000
Manager: Alex McLeish
Key Man: Cristian Benitez

With Alex McCleish at the helm, Birmingham City may be a team to remember this season, they have a decent front line with Cameron Jerome up front, and with new man Cristian Benitez they may actually score some goals. Benitez who cost the West Midlands side nearly £10 Million pounds. The problem last season for the Premier League new boys was there midfield, with signing Lee Bowyer in the central of midfield they have Premier League experience. The new problem is leaking goals in, they have limited experience in defence with Roger Johnson and Scott Dann at center back, good Championship players but will they cut the mustard in the top division? Only time will tell. Joe Hart is the new keeper replacing Maik Taylor, will he do a good job?

Our Prediction: 17th

Full Name: Burnley Football Club
Founded: 1882
Ground: Turf Moor - 22,000
Manager: Owen Coyle
Key Man: Steven Fletcher

Burnley have an experienced manager in Owen Coyle, the Scott has a wealth of experience but not at this level, could this be a stumbling block for Burnley? They have not spent much money on players and have little Premier League experience, Record signing Steven Fletcher who set the club back a spicy £3 Million will have to earn his position fast to please the fans. Although Burnley have a talented winger in Chris Eagles could be be good enough at this level? Brian " Beast " Jensen who will start in goal for The Clarets should cement his place in goal, but will the defence let him down.

Our Prediction: 20th

Full Name: Portsmouth Football Club
Founded: 1898
Ground: Fratton Park - 21,000
Manager: Paul Hart
Key Man: David James

After selling most of it's stars in the summer, Portsmouth will have a mountain to climb, After stars such as Glen Johnson, Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe leaving for better clubs you would of thought that a big investment would of been made in the summer, no. Although they have bought some decent players, Including Michael Brown and Frederic Piquionne, Both will have to impress the fans to make sure they have a future at the club. David James stayed on at the club to the delight of the fans, he will play a big role in the Pompey back line.

Our Prediction: 19th

Full Name: Hull City Football Club
Founded: 1904
Ground: Fratton Park - 25,000
Manager: Phil Brown
Key Man: Geovanni

Hull City have stayed up last season, They made a great start with competing with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea, but after Christmas they struggled, only winning 1 game. They just survived by there skin of there teeth, they may have built on there squad but it certainly isn't a solid Premier League Squad, Jan Venegoor Of Hesselink provides a new option up front as the experienced Dutchman can definitely score goals. Although there defense looks weak without Sam Ricketts who left for Bolton. Will Boaz Myhill keep his place between the sticks? only time will tell

Our Prediction: 18th

Full Name: Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club
Founded: 1877
Ground: Molineux - 29,000
Manager: Mick McCarthy
Key Man: Kevin Doyle

Wolves have definitely strengthened in the Summer and spent over 16 Million pounds, 7 Million was splashed on Record signing Kevin Doyle from Reading. He has Premier League experience and scored 14 goals in his first season in the Premiership. Wolves also bought in Serbian midfielder Nenad Milijas, The playmaker who played for Red Star Belgrade before signing for Wolves has tons of experience and has played in the Champions League, will he be a big signing for Wolves? We certainly think he will be getting goals and assists this season. Finally onto the defense where Wolves have strengthened. They have signed Frenchman Ronald Zubar who has played for Marseille and against top clubs like Liverpool, although he may have to settle but will the fans have the patience? Greg Halford signed at right back to give the team a different option. He has 6 feet 2 of heading ability and has a huge long throw, will this be a good thing to bolster Wolves this season? There squad is nice and thick and has bags of potential, but does it have enough Premier League experience?

Our Prediction: 16th
