F.C. INTERNAZIONALE MILANO - LE GRANDE INTER ERA

The Basic Facts:

Founded - 1908
League - Serie A

Le Grande Inter Primo Era:

The first Le Grande Inter Era was one of the most succesful time's in the clubs history. It was actually in the 50's and 60's. Under Heleino Herrira they won 3 League Championships and back to back European Cup Winners. In the 2 wins of the European Cup they won against Benfica and Real Madrid. When the 60's was over the dominance of Italy by Inter Milan was nearly over. They won a few more championships and reached the final of the European Cup. It was the Golden years for the Neuzzuri not to be repeated for many many years.

The Fall Of Inter:

The 90's marked a bad time for Inter. Although they won 3 UEFA Cup titles it was still a gloomy period. Inter tried to buy their way out of this but failed despite the signings of people such as Ronaldo and Hernan Crespo. They did not win any Serie A Titles and it left everyone unhappy. This continued into the late 00's. People started to doubt a period like "Le Grande Inter Era" would ever happen again.

A Scandel In Italy:

In 2005 Inter Milan won the Coppa Italia not long after that a shock that would change Inter's fortunes. At the end of the 2005/6 season, the Inter supporters had just witnessed yet another title going back with Juventus. Inter were still struggling to get infront of their rivals, AC Milan and Juve. One day it was announced that Juve and AC Milan and serveral other Italian teams had been caught match-fixing. The trials went on and on. Then one day the verdict was announced to everyone. Juventus had been stripped of both their titles and given to the next highest team in the league. As AC Milan had also been match fixing it went down one more and onto Inter. Making them the Champions for the last two years. Juventus were also relegated and AC Milan had a massive point deduction. This left it open for Inter to win the title again. Then when Inter and Milan had fully recovered from this the next season they were no match to Inter and Inter continued to win the Serie A League.

Never Relegated:

Inter Milan are the only team that has been in Serie A to never of been relegated. Inter like to pride themselves on this as it is one of the best in the world.

"Please don't call me arrogant, but I'm European champion and I think I'm a special one" - Jose Mouriniho. He started out as a player but switched to coaching after an unsuccsesful career. His first managerial job was at Benfica. He later joined Porto where he would make his name in Europe. He won the Portuguse League twice in his time there and also won the Champions League. He then went to Chelsea and enjoy'ed a great time there. Winning 2 Premier League titles. When he moved on he went to Inter Milan. So far he has won one Italian League title.

Stadio Giuseppe Meazza [San Siro]

Inter Milan's stadium is called the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza also known as the San Siro. Construction of this stadium began in 1925 and ended in 1926. Aswell as being Inter's stadium it is also Inter's big rivals AC Milan's stadium. At one time in the Club's History the stadium's capacity was 150,000 this was in 1952. There is plans to renovate in the future.

Nah the other was a teaser but i wanted a different challenge other than United this year
