+ Premiership Guide - 2009/10
::Part 1::

Club Name:
Arsenal
Location: London, England
Home Stadium: Emirates Stadium
Capacity:
60,355
Founded: 1886
Manager: Arsene Wenger
Captain: Cesc Fabregas
Position Finished Last Season: 4th
Predicted Finish This Season: 3rd
Key Player: Cesc Fabregas

If this is to be Arsenal's season then they will have to continue to play fantastic football and will need to keep young captain, Cesc Fabregas fit aswel as Russian star Andrey Arshavin. Although they have lost key players, Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor to Man City they have signed defender Thomas Vermaelen who will be a key player at the back this year for the Gunners.Overall, Arsenal do have a very good, young team, they will have to hope for better chemistry and leadership if they are to have a succesful season.

Club Name:
Aston Villa
Location: Birmingham, England
Home Stadium: Villa Park
Capacity:
42,640

Founded: 1874
Manager: Martin O'Neil
Captain:
Stiliyan Petrov
Position Finished Last Season: 6th
Predicted Finish This Season: 7th
Key Player:
Ashley Young

Aston Villa looked like they were on the verge of breaking into the top four last season, before falling behind Arsenal and Everton into 6th position. Midfielder and ex-captain, Gareth Barry was linked with a move to Liverpool all last summer and looked set to move this summer, but he was picked up my Manchester City and defender Laursen was forced to retire due to a injury. Although there was some good news, Aston Villa managed to pick up young starlet Fabian Delph from Leeds United aswel as Stewart Downing from relegated side, Middlesbrough. Villa are still capable of putting up a fight for the title, the squad is far too thin and will settle for a Europa League position again.

Club Name: Birmingham City
Location: Birmingham, England
Home Stadium: St. Andrew Stadium
Capacity:
30,009

Founded: 1875
Manager: Alex McLeish
Captain: Lee Carsley
Position Finished Last Season: 2nd (Championship)
Predicted Finish This Season: 19th
Key Player:
James McFadden

Last time out McLeish failed to save Birmingham from relegation, this time he hopes it will be a different story come the end of the season. Birmingham spent big in the summer, bringing in wonderkid, Christian Benitez. Birmingham were solid in the Championship last year, now 'Big Eck' will have to inpsire his team to fight off relegation and try and end there 'in-out' relationship with the Premier League.

Club Name: Blackburn Rovers
Location: Blackburn, England
Home Stadium: St. Andrew Stadium
Capacity:
31,367

Founded: 1875
Manager: Sam Allardyce
Captain: Ryan Nelsen
Position Finished Last Season: 15th
Predicted Finish This Season: 15th
Key Player: Morten Gamst Pedersen

Blackburn are a very limited side and the fans will know not to expect anything 'out of this world' from the yorkshire club. Still, 'Big Sam' will be expecting his club to be mid-table and maybe even going for a Europa League. Few doubt that Rovers will be a hard to beat team now that Roque Santa Cruz has left. Where will Blackburn get their goals from this year?, well, maybe Chelsea's youngster Di Santo. The youngster who is on loan at Blackburn from the London giants is expected to fill in the boots of Santa Cruz.

Club Name:
Bolton Wanderers
Location: Bolton, England
Home Stadium: Reebok Stadium
Capacity:
28,723

Founded: 1874
Manager: Gary Megson
Captain: Kevin Davies
Position Finished Last Season: 13th
Predicted Finish This Season: 12th
Key Player: Kevin Davies

Gary Megson has done a great job at Bolton and I think this year they will be aiming to push for a Europa League place, though I think they will fail and but finish in the lower mid-table area. Sean Davis signed from Portsmouth this summer on a free transfer and I think that he will only add class to midfield. The one to watch this season in a Bolton top though will be youngster Chris Basham, the midfielder looks very promising and could break into the first team squad this season.

Club Name:
Burnley
Location:
Burnley, England
Home Stadium:
Turf Moor
Capacity:
22,546
Founded:
1882
Manager:
Owen Coyle
Captain:
Steven Caldwell
Position Finished Last Season:
5th (Championship)
Predicted Finish This Season:
20th
Key Player:
Steven Fletcher

Last season, many will remember Burnley for their cup runs, beatingFulham, Tottenham, West Brom, Chelsea and Arsenal. They only just got a place in the Premier League this season via the Play-offs beating Sheffield United in the final. The squad has changed a fair amount this season with a few players comming in such as Scottish striker, Steven Fletcher, who will look to make it in the big time since moving from Hibs. In terms of the players already at the club and new arrivals, this is a Championship squad, so they will be aiming to 'do a stoke' but they will be down their or round about.

Club Name:
Chelsea
Location:
London, England
Home Stadium:
Stamford Bridge
Capacity: 42,055
Founded:
1905
Manager:
Carlo Ancelotti
Captain:
John Terry
Position Finished Last Season:
2nd
Predicted Finish This Season:
2nd
Key Player:
Frank Lampard

Chelsea have been there-or thereabouts over the last few seasons, and now many expect them to enjoy a great season under new boss Ancelotti. Sensible new signings were all that was needed, and Zhirkov and Sturridge could play a big part in the near future for Chelsea especially Yuri. The west London team will be challenging for the title all the way as long as Ancelotti's tactics are regulary spot on. Start players like Terry, Lampard, Anelka and Drogba will have to be on top form to take the title away from Manchester United and stop them winning a record 4-in-a-row.

Club Name: Everton
Location:
Liverpool, England
Home Stadium: Goodison Park
Capacity: 40,157
Founded:
1878
Manager:
David Moyes
Captain:
Phil Neville
Position Finished Last Season:
5th
Predicted Finish This Season:
8th
Key Player:
Tim Cahill

Yet another season starts with Everton failing to ring in any main players. Everton have always been up at the top of the table, this year I think if they may drop a few places down the table with Tottenham and Man City buying big and Aston Villa also bringing in a few good talented players. Overall Moyes has his work cut out for him, He has an ambitious club but the board fail to give him the funds he need to drive Everton towards breaking the 'Top Four'.

Club Name:
Fulham
Location:
London, England
Home Stadium:
Craven Cottage
Capacity:
25,678
Founded:
1879
Manager:
Roy Hodgson
Captain:
Danny Murphy
Position Finished Last Season:
7th
Predicted Finish This Season:
9th
Key Player:
Andrew Johnson

Ever since Hodgson took over at the helm Fulham seem to be incapable of under achiving. Few people think that Fulham maybe be capable of breaking the top four, but to be honest I think that they may miss out and will be mainly aiming for a Europa League spot but will face tough competition. Perhaps if Andrew Johnson can rediscover his best form and they can continue to make an impact.

Club Name: Hull City
Location:
Hull, England
Home Stadium:
KC Stadium
Capacity:
25,404
Founded:
1904
Manager:
Phil Brown
Captain:
Ian Ashbee
Position Finished Last Season:
17th
Predicted Finish This Season:
16th
Key Player:
Geovanni

Phil Browns boys were a great addition to the Premier League last year. They were flying high for the first half of the season, though, the second part didn't go so well, The tigers went into free-fall and many blamed manager, Brown after his incredible on-pitch dressing room, ruining the teams moral at Eastlands. Can Hull do it again this season, or will 'second season sindrom' kick in? The likes of Jozy Altidore and Stephen Hunt will be great signings for the club and will have to perform to try and keep the team in the Premier League.

+ Premiership Guide - 2009/10
::Part 2::

Club Name: Liverpool
Location:
Liverpool, England
Home Stadium:
Anfield
Capacity:
45, 362
Founded:
1892
Manager:
Rafa Benitez
Captain:
Steven Gerrard
Position Finished Last Season:
2nd
Predicted Finish This Season:
5th
Key Player:
Fernando Torres

The Merseyside club could come anywhere in the tp four this season - perhaps even top six. Many felt last season was Liverpools big chance to finally get their hands on the Premier League trophy, but injuries to Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres prevented them from developing the form they needed but still finished a strong second place. In the market, Xabi Alonso and Arbeloa departed to Real Madrid, Xabi Alonso being linked witht he club for most of the summer. So they lost one of their main midfielders and a good right back to the Spanish club but made around £35million from the sales. Liverpool did not go on a huge spending spree buying five, six players, no they decided to spend big money on two players, an English right back, Glen Johnson and Italian central midfielder Alberto Aquailini to replace Arbelo and Alonso. These two are very good players, Johnson will certainly add something different to the full back area as he likes to attack but does lack certain skills whilst defending. Aquailini will have to wait to make his debuet as he is injured at the moment but he will feature alot this season as he is set to partner Marcherano in central midfield this season.

Club Name:
Man City
Location:
Manchester, England
Home Stadium:
City of Manchester Stadium
Capacity:
47,726
Founded:
1880
Manager:
Mark Hughes
Captain:
Kolo Toure
Position Finished Last Season:
10th
Predicted Finish This Season:
7th
Key Player:
Robinho

Carlos Tevez, Kolo Toure, Emmanuel Adebayor, Roque Santa Criz, Gareth Barry, etc... the calibure of signings joinging Man City this season has made everyone wander, can Manchester City win the league this year? They certainly have the right kind of players comming in as well as a top class manager. Lets not forget that Man City have been tipped for great things for the last few season though. Even so, such quaility, coupled with the development of the stars like, Stephen Ireland and Micah Richards could make a great team. With no European football this season there will not be alot to distract them from the task in hand. Sure Man City do have a great squad now, csan they gel quickly though in time for the new season? I think if anyone of the other teams outside the 'top four' is to break it this year, it could be Man City, all they need to do is to play as a team and stay strong.

Club Name:
Manchester United
Location: Manchester, England
Home Stadium:
Old Trafford
Capacity:
76, 212
Founded:
1878
Manager:
Sir Alex Ferguson
Captain:
Gary Nevile
Position Finished Last Season:
1st
Predicted Finish This Season:
1st
Key Player:
Wayne Rooney

Ferguson has his work cut out for him, lossing Ronaldo is a big loss but Antonio Valencia has been brought in to try and fill in the void left by the winger. Tevez left to join rivals Man City so Ferguson completed the signing of Michael Owen from Newcastle. Will United suffer a fall in form this year? I don't think so, I think these big loses could make United stronger this season I think they will retain their title axs champions of England again this year. Look out for Wayne Rooney as I think now that Ronaldo has left he will start banging in the goals now and will step up for United and could maybe even become the player of the year?

Club Name:
Portsmouth
Location:
Portsmouth, England
Home Stadium:
Fratton Park
Capacity:
20, 688
Founded:
1898
Manager:
Paul Hart
Captain:
?
Position Finished Last Season:
14th
Predicted Finish This Season:
18th
Key Player:
David James

It isn't looking good Portsmouth this year, the past season they have last nearly everyone of their main players like Lassana Diarra, Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe etc... This season there is a mixed bag of talent stars like David James remain while signings such as on loan striker Frederic Piquionnie and Steve Finnan. They should have enough quality to stay up but it will be very hard for the club to generate momentum this season and I think they may be playing Championship football this time next year.

Club Name:
Stoke City
Location: Stoke, England
Home Stadium:
Britannia Stadium
Capacity:
28, 383
Founded:
1863
Manager:
Tony Pulis
Captain:
Abdoulaye Faye
Position Finished Last Season:
12th
Predicted Finish This Season:
13th
Key Player:
James Beattie

Stoke showed everyone last year that they are a strong team and finished a comfortable 12th place. The danger now is that they are in danger of second season syndrom. It can happen to any team. Survival will be Stoke's main objective this season. Sanli Tuncay and Robert Huth have been brought in from Middlesbrough and now their team looks stronger and I think that they will beat relegation and finish round about the same place as they did last season.

Club Name:
Sunderland
Location:
Sunderland, England
Home Stadium:
Stadium of Light
Capacity:
49, 000
Founded:
1879
Manager:
Steve Bruce
Captain:
Lorik Cana
Position Finished Last Season: 16th
Predicted Finish This Season:
11th
Key Player:
Kenwyne Jones

Steve Bruce tends to work wonders wherever he goes, quietly building solid squads with the right mix of graft and flair. Last season Sundrland under achieved but the appointment of Bruce will change things and I think they will be pushing for a European spot next year. Lorik Cana was brought in from Marseille this year and I think he will be Sunderlands main player this year, the midfielder has been given the captain's armband for the 2009-10 season and will try to guid the club into Europe.

Club Name:
Tottenham Hotspur
Location:
London, England
Home Stadium:
White Hart Lane
Capacity:
36, 310
Founded:
1882
Manager:
Harry Redknapp
Captain:
Ledley King/Robbie Keane
Position Finished Last Season:
8th
Predicted Finish This Season:
6th
Key Player:
Jermain Defoe

It's time for Spurs to grab the bull by the horns. They don't fare well against the big teams and their huge potential has gone untapped in recent seasons due to poor signings, over the top pressure on decent managers and a general lack of oomph. Their defence is frail - more physically than anything due to the likes of Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate being made of glass - yet their attack should pack a punch this season. Big signing Crouch, Robbie Keane and Jermain Defoe should cause headaches all season long - but it's up to the likes of Modric and Aaron Lennon to provide the ammunition.

Club Name:
West Ham United
Location:
London, England
Home Stadium:
Upton Park
Capacity:
35, 303
Founded:
1895
Manager:
Giafranco Zola
Captain:
Scott Parker
Position Finished Last Season:
9th
Predicted Finish This Season:
16th
Key Player:
Mathew Upson

Rookie boss Zola and assistant Steve Clarke are one of the most promising managerial partnerships in football, having led the Hammers to a ninth-place finish last season. However, the Upton Park club remain in financial peril and Zola's main aim will be to hold onto his very solid core of English players. If he can do that, he's shown that he has the tactical nous for top-flight management, so a similar finish isn't out of the question. Another task will be keeping a threadbare squad fit, though.

Club Name:
Wigan Athletic
Location: Wigan. England
Home Stadium:
DW Stadium
Capacity:
25, 138
Founded:
1932
Manager:
Roberto Martinez
Captain:
Mario Melchiot
Position Finished Last Season:
11th
Predicted Finish This Season:
17th
Key Player:
Charles N'Zogbia

New boss Martinez comes from success in the Football League clearly believing that his talent will translate to the Premier League, also signing a couple of players like Jason Scotland on that principle. He could do worse than inheriting a Steve Bruce side, yet it's still a massive ask to improve upon 11th-place. The much-improved Titus Bramble and co. will continue to work their socks off under Martinez, but with the club's one true touch of class - Antonio Valencia - having moved on, much of the pressure will be on the shoulders of french star Charles N'Zogbia and Hugo Rodallega?

Club Name:
Wolverhampton Wanderers
Location:
Wolverhamton, England
Home Stadium:
Molineux, England
Capacity:
29, 400
Founded:
1877
Manager:
Mick McCarthy
Captain:
Jody Craddock
Position Finished Last Season:
1st (Championship)
Predicted Finish This Season:
14th
Key Player: Sylvan Ebanks-Blake

Mick McCarthy, whose last stint in the division with Sunderland was something of a disaster, has taken Wolves back to the Premier League as champions. This time, both club and gaffer will feel that they have much to prove. The main concern is a virtual abundance of experience. The likes of Michael Kightly and the prolific Ebanks-Blake will relish a shot at the big guns, but Wolves struggled at times last season and are unlikely to get many second chances here. Derbies with Villa and Birmingham should get them riled up, at the very least.

+ Title Challenge

[who will be the champions this season?]
Arsenal

::Strength of Squad::
The Gunners let two of their prized assets to Man City during the summer to Man City but they will still mount a good title challenge. The signing of Thomas Vermaelen from Ajax will only make the squad better and he will add an extra something to the defence. Some star players are comming back from injury, Thomas Rosicky and Eduardo Da Silva are now fully fit and ready for the season ahead. Arsene Wenger could be under a bit of presure for not bringing in any more players so far. Will they add some signings before the end of the window?

::One to Watch::

17-year-old Jack Wilshere inspired Arsenal to the youth cup last season and will now be looking to make more apperances for the first team. Wenger highly admires the youngster and he thinks he will progress very well and could be a main player for Arsenal in the future. The youngsdter is small but he is tough and he fits in the Arsenal's fluid attacking style. Look out for this young man as he could feature this season in the cup games.

::Round up::

Overall Arsenal are a very strong team and will be up their come may next year. The big question is, can the win the league? few may think their team is not experienced enough and will fail to even get in the top four this season. Some though will say Arsenal do have the ability to mount a challenge this season and could even maybe win the league. Will they settle for the League cup or carling cup?

Chelsea

::Strength of Squad::
Despite the lack of a marquee signing Chelsea's squad retains its depth and class.Joe Cole and Michael Ballack are undergoing rehabilitation from injury and could be set to be ready for the start of the season. Daniel Sturridge and Ross Turnbull are useful additions, the latter a back-up goalkeeper, and Yuri Zhirkov will offer balance, defensive surety and spring upfield, whether he is employed at full-back or, more likely, in midfield. Deco, for now, and Ricardo Carvalho remain at the club, with the centre-half eager to put last season's toils behind him.

::One to Watch::

Manchester City may regret letting Daniel Sturridge slip away. The teenager actually stands more chance of making a mark at first-team level with Chelsea than he did at Eastlands given City's recent outlay on forwards.
He will be great back up for Drogba and Anelka, Shevchenko has left the club and has joind his hometown club, Dynamo Kiev and now he will have a better chance at getting into the team. Look out for this youngster as he could be ripping the Premier League up soon.

::Round up::

I would say Chelsea have the strongest squad in the league in my opinion. They have a large squad filled with great, exciting talents in every position. I think that Chelsea could maybe become champions this season if they can play the kind of football they are capable of, Ancelotti will have to get his boys going right from the start and they will have to be quite consistant like they were during the Morinho era in order to put up a fight.

Liverpool

::Strength of Squad::
Liverpool only brought in two major recruits, Johnson and Aqualini. Johnson has been showing signs at Portsmouth for the last few years that he is capable of playing for a top four club and could also be givin a England call-up soon. Aquailini was brought in for around £17million from Italian club Roma to replace Xabi Alonso after he finally moved to Real Madrid for a fee believed to be £30million. Aquailini will has a big job to do to fill in the gap where Alonso was last season. Andriy Voronin is back from Hertha Berlin following a year on loan the the German club and he could feature this season as a strike partner for Fernando Torres. Lucas and Babel has impressed me lately and I think they could feature alot this season.

::One to Watch::
KrisztianNemeth was one of the stars of the reserves 'title triumph' in the 2007-08 season, but his progress last season was wrecked because of injury. Now fit, the Hungarian striker is hungrey for first team football and could be given it this season. The striker is a natural goal scorer and is very capable of finishing when under pressure.

::Round up::

Liverpool will certainly miss Xabi Alonso in the middle of the park, but this gives the younger central midflelders a chance this season. I do not think Liverpool will do as well as they did last season as I think Xabi Alonso was the man that pulled all the strings for Liverpool ast season, if the top four is to be broken this year I think that Liverpool could be the team that fall out of the Champions League spots. Benitez could find this season very frustrating and could maybe be his last year in charge of the team if he does not win the league.

Manchester United

::Strength of Squad::
Without Cristiano Ronaldo, United could find this a tough season just like Liverpool as they will miss his quality and all of his goals. Still, Manchester United will still be one of the teams to beat this season and Old Trafford will still be a tough place to go. Michael Owen and Antonio Valencia were the main signings to come in this season and will have to be on top form. Owen has been brought in to replace Carlos Tevez whos loan deal finished this season and he moved on to Man City. Owen has een brought in to score goals and will hope to find his Liverpool form and start hitting the back of the neat as soon as possible. Valencia, United's most expensive summer signing is a big gamble from Ferguson, the winger is brought in from Wigan this summer and will try to fill in for Ronaldo. Every United fan knows that he will not be like Ronaldo but he will give it a go and hopefully he'll make the fans forget who Ronaldo is.

::One to Watch::
Ben Foster, now 26 has left it late to break into the sqaud but he finally looks like he could be the number 1 for United. Ferguson trust the 'keeper has the quality and ability to be the first choice goalkeeper for United and England. Will it be to much for Ben to handle though, Carling Cup football is a bit different from playing week-in-week-out and will have to be in form to keep out Edwin Van Der Sar.

::Round up::

It will be a tough season for United, I still think that they will come out on top though, they have a very strong team and still have great players. Wayne Rooney will be the main player this season and I think that this could be a great year this season for him if he keeps cool and starts scoring more often. Look out for United this could be a recored breaking season for them if they can win 4 Premier League titles in a row.

::Outsiders with a chance::

Aston Villa
::Strength of Squad::
Aston Villa have a fairly strong starting eleven despite losing key players. The acquisition of Stewert Downing will relieve some pressure from Ashley Young and gives them a bit more depth on the left wing. With Martin Laursen being forced to retire due to an injury and Zat Knight being sold Bolton Wanderers Martin O'Neil decided to bring in some defenders to bolster the squad, Key arrivals are Stephen Warnock and Habib Beye who are brought in for the full back areas. Fabian Delph is also brought in, the exciting midfielder could be a great player in the future for Villa and he could be a main player for them in the years to come and will hope to help the fans forget about Gareth Barry.

::One to Watch::
Fabian Delph is still only 19 but he seems to have been linked with a big miney move to the Premier League everyday for the past few years. He finally got his moved an joined Villa on a long term deal. Martin O'Neil has insisted that Delph will become a fantastic player and will play a crucial role at Villa for many years to come.

::Round up::
A top six finish is what Villa will be aiming for this season, The club certainly could break the top four this season after adding some great players to their already great squad. The top four will have to look out as Villa are hot on their trails. Come may I think that Villa will be up near the top and could maybe even be in a Champions League spot.

Everton

::Strength of Squad::
Everton aren't the richest club in the Premier League yet year in year out they seem to be in or near the European places. Moyes sold Joleon Lescott to Man City for a fee believed to be £24 million. Moyes brought in Dutch defender Jonny Heitinga, Russian midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov and center back, Sylvian Distin with the money. So the sale of Lescott seems to be a wise one, Moyes spent well and brought in two defenders, a midfielder and still has money left. Everton now have a good team tht is capable of challeging the likes of Manchester United for the title and will surely be up near the top six again this year. Everton were the last team to break the top four, can they do it again this year?

::One to Watch::
Jack Rodwell, a successful graduate from the Everton Acadamy is a very impressive young footballer. Rodwell could be a regular central midfielder this season, the tough-tackler is ultimatley seen as a central defender and was even sayed to be the 'new Rio Ferdinand' but his versatility has pushed him into the team early. The youngest ever Everton player to feature in Europe, Rodwell is mature beyond his age and he does not look out of place alongside some of the best players in the league.

::Round up::
Everton have a strong team and we could be seeing them feature in the Premier League next season. Everton are capable of doing this, but I think that they will try to push for a top four place but will just miss out this year. If they are going to do well I think they need more money to spend on players in order to break into the top four again.

Manchester City

::Strength of Squad::
What a fantastic summer Manchester City had. They signed six world class players to bolster their squad, Roque Santa Cruz, Carlos Tevez, Emmanuel Adebayor, Gareth Barry and Joleon Lescott. The club was linked with nearly every football player in the world. John Terry was linked with a miove thorughout the summer, but the deal never happend. They now have a very strong squad and they have bulked up their week defence with the signing of Lescott. Man City is expected to do well this season and lets see come next may where they are ans how their big signings done for them.

::One to Watch::
Carlos Tevez, some may call him stupid leaving one Manchester team for the other. Tevez certainly has a point to prove. He is expected to be a major player in the next few months for Man City as they try to take the Premier League title from the grasping hands of Man United, his old club.
::Round up::
Mark Hughes has been bristling with confidence on the back of the summer spending as well as the departure of many undeeded players. The atmosphere at Man City is very positve, the club is expected to do very well this season and really, with players they have should be fighting for a Champions League spot.

Tottenham Hotspur

::Strength of Squad::
Well, Tottenham do have a very good, strong squad the squad dont only just have a strong starting eleven, they have good back up as well, a great team always has strenght in numbers and thats what Spurs have. Tottenham added some great players to their roaster this year including, Niko Kranjcar and Peter Crouch from Portsmouth.

::One to Watch::
Aaron Lennon proved that he is one of Tottenhams most-improved players in England. His raw pace and skill were never in question, but now there are signs of maturity in the winger's overall play. He has great intelligence in his use of the ball, especially his crossing

::Round up::
Tottenaham have a very strong team this year, a team that is capable of winning the league? yes, they have the right kind of players at their disposal and a great English manager. Tottenham didn't start well last year under Ramos, but afer Redknapp came in, it was a completely different story. Now that they have him for the full year I think this is going to be a great season for the London club and have a very good chance of breaking into the top four.

lalalala off, do you know how it feels to have a last minute equaliser snatched away from you? Probably not, since Utd have probably never had a goal disallowed. Let me inform you, it's probably the worst feeling I've had all year.

It was Gallas who was in an offside position, but he didn't touch the ball or interfere

Yes he did, he headed the ball on to RVP who scored.

I'd say he was interfering - if he wasn't so close to Evra, he could've got a clear header away.

Thanks for the comments guys, And Van Persies goal shouldn't have stood, Gallas was interfering by forcing Evra to make the mistake.
I have done most of the opening post, just have the pictures to put up and will probebly add a bit more detail
