Hi everyone, we are aware of some issues with GameFace still and the dev guys for this are working hard to resolve them. They tend to post any updates in the US forums however so it may be worth checking there.

Hey folks, seen this on the US forum and it *works*

i checked to see what was in :
c:\Documents and Settings\<your windows user name>\Application Data\EA\EASW\GameFace\

I then see that this folders has not been created by the installation.
So i create them my self.

Then it all works fine.

remember that the Application Data is a hidden folder, so you have to turn on the "Show hidden files and folders" option in windows explorer.
Tools - Folder Options - View
Choose the "Show hidden files and folders" option under the "Hidden files and folders" folder.

Hope this will help you.
It's quite easy to create an batch script to do this, EA. And release as a fix..

Apologies if posted elsewhere.

because the face on fifa was lalalala, i forced myself to make a new one. and therefor i was forced to overwrite my old PERFECT face (on website)..... but on fifa it looks better than my old one though.... although the face on website looks lalalala

Have to echo what everyone else is saying. Looks great on the site but really awful on the game.

I deleted the gameface save on my PS3 and the skin tone on my VP went back to normal, I then downloaded the face again but got the same hideous result above.

Try making a new face, with the skin collour (that you can choose on the website) on the first box (the most blanc) hopefully that works, because that worked for me.

When I go to 'download game face' it tells me 'There have been no changes to your game face to download. Visit easportsworld.com to update your game face'.

My game face appears in the bottom right corner but isn't on my pro.

Bit weird.

try getting the servers right on the day of release so people can actually do their gameface, poor.

Since Fifa 10 doesn't come out until Oct 20 I've been wondering and would like to ask if you can download your game face from EA's beta version and then further work on it within the Fifa 10 game rather than the online way?

I found that the online method didn't have enough hair styles and I was hoping the game does?

Can anyone answer this? If not then I believe that that is an issue.

There are more hai styles but like on online once you have done an online gameace features cannot be edited , they can if you are just making up a generic player

Not a big problem.. but I made a Virtual Pro, and the name the commentators should say is "Heaton", but instead Martin Tyler says: "He".. Yep, that's all he says

(sometimes Thomas Heaton though)

And another problem with the Virtual Pro is that my PSN/EAthingy got logged out, so I had to restart my PS3 to get it to log in, and then when i started the game again my dribbling skills where back to 2 stars instead of 5. Dunno if anything else disappeared.

Thanks very much for answering my question. Just one more. Does the game have a shaved head/stubble hair cut? Or do I have to settle for that unrealistic airbrushed head look that I see online?

Maybe a little of topic - I was wondering why the club model is only for created players?

Fifa Clubs last season was the best part of the game so I'm dissapointed that this season you can only play with yours and everyone elses 'pro' players. Im not so much of a hardcore player so would appreciate an option to play with real world players, as at the minute I haven't got the time to play and develop a character

here's an idea ea, when you release a new game with a new feature called gameface, why not, and here's the tricky part, prepare your servers upon release to cope with the huge demand.

I usually stay over on the NA forums as our UK counterparts do a great job here. As we've been updating in the thread SERVER LIVE ISSUE: GAME FACE ERRORS/CANNOT SAVE OR GENERATE [ONGOING] - Game Face Help and FAQ - EA SPORTS Game Face: EA Forums we know people have been experiencing issues and the team is in the midst of implementing a server side update to alleviate some of issues. I'm sure FLT will update shortly, but just wanted to pass the message along. Everyone's patience is appreciated as the team works around the clock to address issues.
