Default Quitters an essay from the (in)sole (sic.)

Im sure there must be 1001 threads about this already but after looking through the first 10 pages I saw nothing (I feel for you guys who have to look through this forum).

Ill start by saying I love the game, I feel every improvement works well(the defenders are pretty angry though, feels a lot like catch up is enabled on a racing title).

My only constantly frustrating and grating issue is online, dont get me wrong its nothing you guys have done, its more what you haven't:

The achievements keep me going and I like that there are time consuming ones like the return of the 50 hour and the 500 matches with our VP, this however is where it all falls down when I come to getting 100 ranked match wins.

Ok a 0g cheev was a good idea but it doesnt prevent people qutting. Maybe rather than dissuading them from quitting we should be persuading them to finish.

I hate having to avoid scoring another goal incase they quit when ever I'm infront and even when i do this they still quit out in the 89th minute and I dont get the win towards my 100 ranked wins.

How am i ever going to get it, i got whooped 7-0 by Real Madrid the other day, I didnt quit out. I dont run in from of defenders for goal/free kicks and when someone passed me it by mistake in front of goal I kicked it away, I believe its called sportsmanship, if its no longer taught as a child maybe its time to encourage it with rewards.

Just because its a game for all ages (3 and over of course)does it mean we should suffer the immaturity of teens and/or adults who forgot to grow up.

I saw somebody had a good idea on x360a of either making it so if they quit we carry on playing against the com which i believe was supposed to be a feature at some point, or having an achievement that is play 100 online games to the end or making it so that if some damned fool decides they dont like losing by 1/2/20 goal and quits, or loses connection mysteriously, then we should still get the win.

Im not sure if its patchable but I want to get to 1k on this just like I did on 09 and it should be a pleasure a lot like the rest of the game and achievements, not a total pain in the, well where ever.

I doubt EA will ever read this but surely people must have this problem, of all the games I have played online I think 4 have gotten to the end.

P.S, A stats page would be sweet a lot like on 09

I feel you man and its one of the reasons I stopped playing online with FIFA 09. It gets to a point where its just not worth the bother - no fun. The answer they told us for FIFA 10 was that the system in place is the best they can come up with.

Although, I thought you were able to filter persons with a high DNF this time around, when you do a search for a game?

I haven't got the game yet but it would be disappointing if that option wasn't included.

You can set ur game so u dont have to play against people who have quit before and also what level of star teams u want to play against.
Just go to custom match instead of the one it just puts u on i forget what its called now as i havent played for a few days
